Yay! Gino has finally been reserved! This gorgeous boy who is always clean in his kennel has been overlooked so many times because of his size. He is a gentle giant and I am so glad someone has finally fallen for him x

Elm is a delightful young lady who loves cuddles. She is such a happy little soul! If I didn't already have three very beautiful Greyhounds...I would be so tempted to take all three of the sisters home. They are all so lovely, it's impossible to choose only one of them!! :))) Xxx

Alder is one of the most cuddliest girls ever! As soon as you go into her kennel she snuggles up to you as close as possible. :)) If you are looking for a special furry friend to share your sofa, Alder would be perfect! 🙂 Xxx

Tulip

Tulip is a very sweet little girl. So affectionate. Xxx She goes into a very deep sleep after dinner and usually when we go into her kennel to say Goodnight and give her a bedtime treat, you have to call her name several times before she wakes. When she does she looks at you with her beautiful dark eyes and she melts your heart! :)) Xxx

As Kate has already said Roxie is a big happy friendly lad. I can confirm that after our visit to Elmdon Park today. As a big lad it was fortunate he jumped on his own into the car and travelled sensibly to the park. He is quite strong on the lead and prospective adoptors should bear that in mind. There were no problems with him meeting medium and larger breeds but caution still needed with smaller dogs. He loves affection and will enjoy life in a home with a loving active lifestyle

Barney

Happy Birthday to our beloved Barney! Can you believe that this charming boy was once overlooked by everyone? After 6 months of fostering, we couldn't resist his quirky charm any longer and provided him with his forever home. We're still baffled that no one scooped him up sooner because Barney is truly one-of-a-kind! He's got such a big heart, especially when it comes to looking out for Caesar, even if he occasionally gives him a scolding. And let's not forget his adorable habit of collecting our shoes and snuggling them in his bed! During my work hours, Barney is the best sidekick ever, always by my side as the ultimate stooge dog. And although he's turning 8 today and can't donate blood anymore, he always gets super excited every time he sees the blood bank bus – mostly for the treats, of course! That is what he will miss most!! Here's to you, Barney! Wishing you a paws-itively fabulous birthday and many more years of fun, love, and shoe-stealing antics!

Daybreaks Diary!

Thanking Phil for the delivery of goodies from Iceland this morning! Lots of dog treats and packs of meat, The mini eclairs for the volunteers were very much appreciated too! :)) Xxx Myra brought in some Easter Eggs especially for dogs. Without exception they all loved them! Xxx Thank you Myra. Xxx The forecast for today was frequent showers.....but it stayed dry and this afternoon the sun made an appearance. 🙂 Xxx Thank you so much to all of our lovely volunteers for your help today. I do hope everyone has had a good Easter. Xxx
