Took this fatastic guy to Shustoke reservoir today for an outing, mainly to fly my drone and to get good photos and videos. We were out for around 2 hours. He was a greyt model. Not bothered by the noise of the drone one bit. He saw multiple other breeds, some small and big. Had 1 bark at 1 small dog, all the others he just strolled past. Well done for being so good on that trip... then we got back to the kennels and he spent another 20 minutes racing up and down the sand run with a visitor!

Heartbreakingly Big Boy as he is known is coming back to Daybreaks after being homed 4 years ago as his owner has passed away. He unfortunately needs major dental work doing so we will be getting that sorted as soon as he arrives in the next day or so and we would be desperate to find a foster/forever home for him asap. He is a big softy and at 8 years old just needs a comfy sofa to retire on!

Daybreaks Diary!

Today was a quiet one for volunteers especially after the kennels feeling like New Street Station yesterday! Karla was in to help me clean and feed and Paul and Debs for walkies. INot forgetting it’s Wednesday which means toasted tea loaf day!!! It was then playtime and treats - I will post a video of some of the residents having fun with their enrichment onto our Daybreaks Trust Chat Facebook group later. Chris was in to help this afternoon whilst I attacked some paperwork and some more sorting of our back storage area. I had kisses from my handsome fella (Spirit) and not having favourites- he kept me company in the office! With love in the air give those you love an extra big cuddle tonight xx

Yesterday I took Nat out on trial to a new home.... she has got a fabulous garden to run about in and undivided attention. One of the requests was 'will she go on the sofa'? She must have heard and jumped straight up to give kisses to her new mum!
