Ah God Bless you little girl, you remind me of how my Jake looked this time last year...he was sore and scabby and underweight but time and TLC will see you right. You are lucky to have found Daybreaks and i know you will be fine now. With all our love Donna Baby and Jake (now OVERWEIGHT and glossy and loved to bits.) xxxxxxx

Hi all Andrew here replying on behalf of the Walsh clan as Jo at Uni. Pleased to say Sunny has very much made himself at home and taken over the sofa! He still loves to play with his ball and makes quick work of any new toys! We are taking him for his first training session tomorow, so wish him luck im sure he will be great 🙂 xx

Joey
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Been to visit Joey today with Oscar (Dove) and as there was a huge garden (field) to run around in, we let them off their leads for the first time, it was fantastic to watch them running flat out together!! They are 2 very lucky hounds xxx

Ronnie stayed with us last week and was very clean in the house, he got on well and was left with our two during the day and no chewing shoes, remote controls etc: He is a very affectionate hound who enjoys being fussed. Unfortunately though he was found not to be cat friendly so sadly he had to return to the kennels. His condition didn’t trouble him even when out on walks in the evening and the only sign of any problem was going down the stairs. He obviously hasn’t met or socialised with many other breeds but we found that with ours when they first moved in. I hope someone will soon be able to offer him a home. He also likes pigs’ ears and lager.

Joey (Mr Grey Face!)
I’m Homed
Just read about Joey in his new home. After looking after him in our home for 2 weeks I can honestly say he is such a gentle loving dog. He was very shy & nervy at first but gradually came round. His tail went 10 to the dozen when you came into the room & he'd lie by you.He loved going out on his walks. It was lovely to see him gaining weight day by day.I must say we were really upset to see him go, we just fell in love with him.A few tears have been shed. But also we're so happy that he's found a lovely new home to go to.I hope that we continue to hear how he's getting on in the future.
