I am heartbroken to say my beautiful little Willow Pillow took her last breath tonight. She was at home, warm and comfy on her bed. I thank god I could be with her and not at the vets where she would have been on her own. RIP my baby girl....24/12/2010 to 27/12/2020. No more words at the moment, too broken. Xxxx

MERRY CHRISTMAS. (Whatever that means, I heard the hoomans say it) it’s been a very good day though! It all started with the hoomans giving me a stocking full of treats. Which I tried to take all in one go. Then the hoomans opened their gifts. Don’t know why I thought it was my special day or something. Finally I got my next lot of gifts after! A squeaky sprout, a squeaky Christmas pudding and a squeaky present from Florence which is no longer squeaky. I also got treats from my pal Scooby. After our Christmas morning walk I pinched one of mummy’s presents. It might have been destroyed... oops. After that the hoomans made me a Christmas dinner and then they had their own around this big table! Now I’m sleeping off the big day! Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! Lubs Russ and Family Xx

Still a terrible parent.....it was Sarah Scare Bears gotcha day on 20 December. Sorry Scare Bear it's been a rough few weeks with not only you being poorly but also your sister Willow. Fear not everyone, with two poorly dogs the furry five have been living it up with sausages, mashed potatoes, casseroles, faggots and numerous other delicacies every night, so not gone without! X

Thanks Angie, my thoughts are with you and Mike too. Unfortunately just after I posted about Willow she had a seizure. Thankfully she is back up and about and eating, drinking and wandering around the garden. Sarah has been better, but now has flabby bits underneath! Possible side effects from the steroids. If it's not one it's the other at the moment. Continue to stay safe, hopefully see you soon. Much love to you both, and thank you for thinking about us. Xxx

Happy Birthday Willow. So sorry - I didn't realise that you had been such a poorly girl, one of the drawbacks of not being at the kennels - I feel so out of touch with everything. I'm so pleased that you have picked up enough to enjoy some birthday treats & cuddles. Jo I am thinking of you and your gang & wishing you all the best Christmas you can have under the circumstances. Really hope some sort of "normality" can be resumed in the new year and I can get back to my Daybreaks family. xx

Well....this is a post that at the beginning of the week I thought would not be writing. Today is my beautiful Willow Pillows 10th birthday, happy birthday gorgeous girl, despite being very poorly for the last two weeks you have rallied and made it. She had not been eating and drinking very little to the point I was using a syringe to give her fluids, she then did not attempt to get up for two days. She visited Fivelands on Tuesday for what we thought would be goodbye. Christian vetandhairy man did not hold out much hope for her but gave her antibiotics and steroid injections, within an hour she was up and walking even if it was like a drunken dog. She started eating and drinking and walking properly and although not 100% is much better, even taking treats! Whilst she is happy we will continue to do the best for her. Happy birthday Willow Pillow, love you loads. Xxx
