Damp, wet, miserable and horrible, that's not just a description of the weather, but how we all felt! Fantastic to meet our new arrival Peaky, very friendly and affectionate. Star had a visit from her family, they took her out with Spirit her soon to be brother, she is going home on Saturday. Fantastic to see foster dogs Laddie and Trooper reserved by their foster families. Ha ha more failed fosterers to join the club, which leads me onto.... Asbo Arry (Ares) one of my failed fosters celebrated his 10th birthday today, he came to the kennels with his sister Sarah Scare Bear as usual. He now has a new collar an ostrich bone and Uncle volunteer Dave got him a bag of chicken feet (nice)! We have homings booked for tomorrow, Friday and Saturday, a busy few days indeed. All following the current covid regulations of course. Wishing Ruth a speedy recovery after her nasty fall and hoping when she returns to the fracture clinic they give her the green light! To everyone else, please stay safe and well. X

Joe back again I have been having so much fun when my hooman mum was out in the garden I decided to drag her muddy walking boots which hadn’t clean I might add all through the house onto my bed I then thought it would be good fun if I took my coat as well for some reason she didn’t look too pleased can’t think why she told me it was a good thing that she thinks the world of me or I would be packing my bags and going back to Ruth!

Aw bless him, one of our Greys used to carry a slipper around with him, he never chewed it, when he wanted to go into the garden for a wee, he would go looking for his slipper and take it outside with him keeping it in his mouth, it was so cute, Kevin sounds like a super boy, glad he's settled xxxx

Well our kevin has settled in fine , he is such a loving dog and very laid back . Still a little bit timid but we are building on that . He is so funny . If u leave shoes or slippers in a pair ,wen u return there will only be 1 left ! He is the phantom slipper knicker . He doesn't chew them just nicks them!

I’m giving my cuddle to Woody tonight. He was such a good boy on his walk this afternoon and seemed quite confident. He was a bit more relaxed when I saw him in his kennel than when I saw him on Saturday and I’m sure his confidence will keep growing. I love seeing these nervous lovelies gradually getting more positive and I always want to just hug them to make them feel better xx

I walked pretty little girl Star this afternoon. She is a little dot but was still a challenge to get her collar and lead on as she was so excited to go out. She was so good on the walk though and was a pleasure to take out xx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
I walked with Bill this afternoon. He was very good while I put his lead on and we got out of his kennel and he had the longest wee I have EVER seen! And he still had enough left to make sure he made his mark all the way down the lane! He was very good on the lead and happily walked along with everyone else. He’s a lovely boy :)xx

Another fab new arrival today. Peaky! He is a very happy and friendly lad. Xxx I had the pleasure of taking Lee for a walk this afternoon. He is great on the lead and enjoys being out and about. We walked at brisk pace because we had Ice with us who was so excited! :)) Xx Many thanks to Shirley, Richard and Rosie for their help today. Xxx
