Ebenins wun n orls miss Goldikova heers Fort eye wud pop a Molly Moo upydayte ons. Eye duz showt at hers, she has da nerv toz NOR mes, flippin dog eye meen how rood of hers. Duz she not noz eye is da bossgurl? Henyway da BIG wide wurld is sooooopa skaireeey for hers but eye is showin her dat it’s hokay reeleeys. As for being in a howse dat is cumin long nisleys. We orl sleeps in diffarunt rums *nods* ANS orl from da neyet. Wen daddy n da ikkle big hoop gets hup n goz toz wurk, dis bes In Da middul ob da neyet! We gets fussiz n den snuggul bak down til muvva gets hup. Today muvva did put a smelly kolla on her ans well we is now ruddy DOOMDID! hers ebarywairs, demandins fussinz n treyein to get fudabuls ANS her eben tried toz nom da wudun blanky ladda! Ugggghhh! What a miserable, cold, wet day! I had a day catching up on post and I am so grateful to everyone who has sent in donations to Daybreaks for Christmas. I am so grateful for the support we receive and absolutely can't wait for things to return to 'normal' - the kennels are just not the same without the kennels being fully occupied. The kennels remain open for the sand run and food collection but please call to book as we are only on site for a short while each day between Christmas and New Year.

Same old story , Greyhound , Rain just like oil and vinegar they only mix when you give them a push I cannot begin to even comprehend we've been together for 12 months 2 days in fact its completely mind-blowing , I only picked the girls up a week ago , your life is very short and your Greyhounds life is shorter so my advice is to make every moment a special moment (even if that is throwing them out in the rain for a wee) Have the best Christmas you can have you lovely people xx

Trooper came in this morning full of beans; he enjoyed himself staying with Ruth, Andy, Tigger and Momma last night. :)) You wouldn't have thought he had been neutered only yesterday! Many thanks to his lovely new Mum for her patience...and to the great Pet Taxi driver who had brought her to the kennels...it was a very busy day and took a while to sort the paperwork. Finally after having a wee up against his bag of Burns Trooper was ready to go home! :))) We received a fab photo of him later this afternoon snuggled up on his very own forever sofa! So lovely to see. :)) Wishing him and his family a wonderful first Christmas together. Xxx

Happy 1st gotcha day! It's been 12 months since we bought you home. It's gone so fast. Flo is just the most funniest, cleverest, adorable little girl. She has Nifty & Cilla doing exactly what she wants. We cannot thank Ruth & Kate enough for allowing us to keep Flo & special thanks to Kate for all your help & advice. She knew Cilla & Flo would end up best friends playing together - which they are x

Super Trooper went off to the vets this morning for his neutering operation. He was such a good boy, jumped in the car and travelled very well. He bounced into the vets...didn't have the heart to tell him what he was there for! Ruth was picking him up this evening and taking he home. Hope he is bring a good boy. :)) Xxx

Apparently I made the hoomans laugh. Don’t know why. I decided to take my lickmat into the living room to put in my washing up bowl (which the hoomans gave to me early). Daddy tried to take the mat back in the kitchen but before he even got out of the room I took it out of his hands again. In the end this went on for 10 minutes and daddy gave up. Finally got the lickmat just where I want it! Lubs Russ

I met Trooper in kennels yesterday. He's just like my Nadie (they are related)! A bundle of fun and energy, but walks beautifully (albeit he likes to zig zag 🙂 ) Simon and I took him on two walks down the lane which he loved. We both spent time with him in his kennel and had face washes, leans and lots of cuddles. Congratulations to his new family. I hope he doesn't feel too sorry for himself after his neutering today - he can look forward to going home tomorrow and settling in ready for Christmas. Be good, Trooper, and enjoy your retirement. Daisydog here wishing everyone who remembers her a very happy Christmas. Daisydog remarks ‘ I am 14 and a half now so am mostly in my lovely soft bed eating chews. I am no longer able to drive my car or walk to the common or the sea but have a very happy quiet life - I watch a lot of Miss Marole and also like the snooker. Mum changes my collar every few days as I still like to look the fashionista I am even though I don’t get to wear my wardrobe of coats anymore. Mum says there will be extra cheese for Christmas - hurrah’ Mum says ‘ My be beloved girl is so fragile and wonky now but so perky and engaged with life that I am amazed by her strength of spirit - each day is a gift - especially as so many of her chums are already at the bridge - our lovely vet Ruth says She is a remarkable old lady. Indeed she is. Xx

Busy, busy today. Ruth had nails, corn and dressing clinic. Trooper was the only kennel dog and enjoyed two nice walks with Lynne and Simon. He should be going home on Tuesday, his neutering is booked for tomorrow. We have a new fence in the kennel car park!!! Thanks so much for the Daybreaks Trustees for coming in to install it. We are now very secure. Lorna had several bookings for Pampers and there were several sand run user's. As always stay safe and well. Xx It did turn cold this afternoon
