Wow! Every resident either reserved or rehomed. How fantastic. Guessing Bea's viewing was successful. Looking forward to meeting new arrivals at weekend and here's to next weekend being as successful as the past couple. x

    I’m Homed

Bea came home with me last night - and what a good girl she was! She explored the house and went upstairs. She toileted outside and had a very restful night on the dog bed at the side of our bed. She travels well and really is a lovely girl - she is very stressed when she is in a kennel but happy if on a bed in the run. She has a viewing today so please keep your fingers crossed for her.

Thank you for your comments ,everyone they are making me smile , Especially the run fast and free comment, Carrie run fast ? , yeah if there's a pancake involved after that it was always sleep, she was always best at that and if there was ever the tiniest hint of rain in Ireland or Wales ,she wouldn't ever leave the house , I will stop posting on her page soon but now isn't the right time for me to stop talking about her.Shes probably now looking at Rainbow Bridge waving to Mummy, Eve and Teddy and thinking "Have I really got to WALK across that? I think Im going to wait on this side and have a sleep and then Dad can come in a few years and Carry me to meet the others , I can't be arsed to walk, it might Rain"

We are very lucky humans! Russ is a golden boy and we couldn’t be happier with him. He is adorable in his little ways. Looks at you for fuss, steals your bed and steals your bin. He has be exceptional in the caravan. Asks when he needs to go out and no trouble at all. He is a very special boy! Thanks Barney for sending us one of your special friends!

I’ve heard from Molly’s new mum a couple of times. She had a really good journey to her new home and went straight out for a walk with her new furbrother, following his lead and being a really good girl, meeting a few dogs and even a cat with no problem. She met more of the family today who live nearby and who absolutely love her. They all went for a walk and Molly was a star again. Good girl Molly, keep up the good work :))) xxx

This little poppet is constantly in my thoughts, if we were looking for another Grey she would be at home with us now, please, somebody take this gorgeous girl into your home and hearts, our first Grey was called Bridget, which was shortened to miss B, which ended up as B, so as you can imagine, she is tugging at my heartstrings xxxx

    I’m Homed

I really must remember that when I look in the diary to see what the day ahead brings it's going to be different! Gold was due a second viewing this afternoon, the family were so excited (and awake from 5 o'clock this morning) they decided to come in this morning as they didn't want to miss out giving him a loving forever home! He is such a lucky boy and has gone to live in the village where Ruth and Andy live, virtually over the road!!! He will be spoilt and so very loved. Queenie was reserved, as was Raven who has been on foster, good news all round. X Rocky (will be Buddy) had a visit from his family, another lucky boy. Although we have fewer dogs in the Kennels it was non stop today, thanks everyone again for their help, the supply of coffee and also to Tina who was sorting more items for Tiggis fundraiser. Ruth spent her day off collecting some rather special donations! Thanks for everyone's support, it really does mean a lot. New arrivals coming this week, watch this space!!

    I’m Homed

Little Bea came out with me this morning to Sheldon Country Park. She is such a sweetie. Her tail wagged like crazy coming out of the kennels and she clearly enjoys any attention she can get. We walked for just over an hour. Like LM said, she walks very nicely, albeit at a zig zag at times. She was perfect with other dogs, in fact she paid them no attention what so ever, preferring to continue sniffing than interact with them. We went home then for about an hour. She behaved well in the house and used the garden to toilet. She just loves to be with you and will accept any fuss you're willing to give. I hope she doesn't have to wait too long for her new home xx
