Please, please please somebody give this boy a sofa. He is the most loveable greyhound. He jumps up and down when anyone comes in the gate at Daybreaks to say "Come and look at me" and the minute you give him a bit of fuss he just melts into the most loveable boy you could imagine. I am totally smitten and if my circumstances were different he would be mine.He is a dream in his kennel, loves nothing more than you going and give him a little bit of fuss. He is one big softie and the biggest leaner ever. Hope you find your sofa very soon.

We are both a bit greyer now then we were all those years ago when we fostered you prior to your exciting move over to Tracey & co in France - but its great to see you enjoying your life and being spoiled just as you deserve. xxx

We are so grateful to Erik and his family for inviting Jack into their home the last week. He has certainly experienced life in the big wide world! 🙂 We are hoping the viewing for him tomorrow will go well and everything he has learnt with Erik will stay with him for the future. Xxx

Our wonderful Jasper went home today!...I did take several homing photos of the whole family but had a few technical problems (operator eror!) so only have his last shot in the car at the moment. Xx It wasn't the same locking up tonight without Jasper and I shall miss his waggy bottom and cute little tail. :)) He has found himself a fantastic family who I know will love him so much. Wishing you all lots of happy times together. Xxx

Today is Jacks last full day with us, tomorrow he is going back to the kennel to meet a prospect mum and dad, fingers, legs, arms, and toes crossed for him. The start of the morning is the standard routine, we get up, take the dogs for their morning wee. I have my much-needed coffee and then we have our walk. After the walk, they have their normal 45-minute wait for food. Jack is still eating if his life depends on it, quite normal behaviour after live in a kennel. In the afternoon we went to Bosworth Water Park. It is a nice relaxing walk for Charlotte and Jack. As we always do walk halfway around the water park and then have a pick nick. Jack behaved like a gentleman, he did not pester much for food, which is great. He also had a good look at some really big fish. Whilst my daughter was playing in the play area we relaxed in the car. We shared a little bit of ice-cream which you seem to enjoy. When we returned Jack and Charlotte were both tired and were sleeping the rest of the afternoon. We had a little walk in the evening as they were tired already and seemed uncomfortable on your left paw. Your paw and pads seem fine, so not sure why. Their dinner time is becoming a routine for Jack now. He knows where his bowl is and rushes to it, so all great. Jack it has been great having you with us. I feel you have done brilliantly during the last week. I am so pleased to see you grow in confidence. You walk so much better compared to my first walk with you, in so many different ways. We will miss, having you around but, it is now time for you to find your forever home. You will make a great companion dog as you enjoy just being around people relaxing.

Jack had a nice relaxed Sunday. When he went downstairs I took him outside straight away. He had a number of wees and a poo. We soon went for a walk and did an other walk along the canal. Was very pleasant and both Jack and Charlotte were sniffing constantly so it took a bit of time. I had to get the car cleaned but decided to leave Jack home with my wife and Charlotte. A car wash may just be a bit to stressful for Jack. My daughter and I were away for a couple of hours. When we returned my wife told me that Jack had been singing beautiful songs even though Charlotte and My wife were home. It just shows that Jack needs training to be left alone as there are no specific triggers I could identify which make him sing. The afternoon was relaxed we stayed home and only went out for a evening walk. Again this was very relaxed took a different route along the canal. It was greatly enjoyed. We came across a Akita cross. We also come across a mastiff and Jack was fine with both no reactions He did find people playing football interesting. The evening meal come and went with no issues. Jack has made great progress this week. He has gone from a kennel dog to a well behaved pet very quickly. When he first arrived he had wee and poo issues, being a bit nervous, not sure home to behave with our old girl and singing now and then. Today, Jack is a dog who will ask himself to go out (we also recognise the signals), touch wood no accidents today. Who is calm, responds well to instructions, likes his comforts and is confident enough to take himself away if he wants peace and quite from a four year old. Jack appears to respond very well to positive re-enforcement, ignore unwanted behaviour and really praise wanted behaviour. Jack you done brilliant the last week, made some much progress absolutely brilliant well done!!!

Yardy has been with us for a few weeks now and so far, very sadly no one has offered him a home. 🙁 He is a wonderful, happy soul waiting for someone to love him and give him the chance to love them too. He will brighten up every day and make you smile. 🙂 Xxx He does need a little help understanding the big wide world but he is a smart lad and in the right home will soon learn the right way to do things. Xxx He is very good looking too! I have a soft spot for the white and black lads and lasses...Xxx Hoping his dreams will soon come true. Xxx
