Absolutely heartbroken to tell you that Nanny died suddenly. My thoughts are with Liz and Coffey at this awful time. Run free little lass - I am heartbroken.

You are a very special boy! :)) I agree with shanishoo, you are very energetic for a Greyhound....my lad Skip looked up the definition of "Retired" when he came to live with us.... "to withdraw from one's position or occupation or from active working life" He would be horrified to see your diary! :)) Xxx

Hello Friends. It’s my Gotcha anniversary today, 2 years now in furever home. I have learned that homelife is the best life! I do the holiday at sandy beaches, I do the training classes and passed silver citizen award, I do both sunbathe and walk in rain, I do blood donate (for biscuits), I do the greyhound roadshow awareness thing and remember my rescue team, I found a happy daycare house to stay at when pawrents busy, I do the not bothered with busy builders and noisey fireworks and I do vet visit on my paw to beat corn limp. I can do lockdown with stay at furever home, with food, sleep and local walk. I have happy face because lots of people and friendly hounds have helped me, so next year I will do more of helping others. See you soon, love RubyRebel

Happy Saturday everyone. Susie continues to enjoy her time with her foster family. She is the happiest little person, she just loves everything and everyone, nothing phases her. She get so excited to go for a walk and walks beautifully. She’s now met all types of dogs and is really sociable. Her old kennel coat is now giving way to a new shiny one. She loves hugs and kisses and her tail is always wagging. Susie is the definition of happiness disguised as a greyhound xxxx

Daybreaks Diary!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all keeping well. I am now fully booked for this Saturday for nail clipping and corns! If you need food, I have plenty of sacks available but please call me on 0121 782 7702 if you need some. I can send you a link via your mobile to pay and all you will need to do is collect! I am now taking bookings for next Saturday 25th April when I will be at the kennels from 11 - 2pm so if you have anything you would like me to sort, give me a call! Whilst at the kennels Tuesday and Thursday for a short while, I spent a few hours sorting my treatment room which had become a store room in my absence! I saw Shirley yesterday who was sweeping and clearing the drive and had been weeding the sand run - thank you Shirley! If you need any items for your 4 legged friend, please have a look at the Daybreaks on line shop at https://daybreaks.selz.com/ A massive thank you to all those who are fostering for us too. Arry I asked mom, she says they are Leaf Stick Insects, seems she like sticks and has had them loads of times before. She’s still trying to get TC to let her have another greyhound though! Xxx
