I think they would seana. Yes, was supposed to be going back april but ive pushed it back till June, dont feel ready yet! Although with the way things are going i may as well have gone back april and got paid to work from home! Yes, jet and the rest of the gang are all doing well thank you, touch wood. Cold, wet miserable, and that was just myself and the volunteers, oh and also the weather! Thanks to everyone who came in and helped today, very much appreciated. Beano went home and Billy arrived, so not a bad day after all. Sadly due to a change in circumstances Lou is no longer reserved :(( Hoping the weather will be better tomorrow and I will feel a little more human than today....it's just a cold, honest it's just a cold!! After a few days away it was lovely to see the Daybreaks girls and boys 🙂 Xxx. Thanks so very much to Jess and Jo for covering my days I have been absent and to all the lovely volunteers. You are all brilliant! Xxx Beano was reserved first thing this morning so a great start to the day! It's so good she and kennel mate Queenie have both been reserved. It would have been sad for one of them to be left on their own. Xx Thanks so much to everyone who came in to help today. We are so very grateful. Xxx So many of our residents have gone out recently, it's fabulous! Do hope we can continue to carry on with homings despite the awful situation at present. Hoping you all stay safe and well! Xxx Xxx

Its true isnt it Lucy, thats what they would say if they could. It was in a card sent to me when I lost my first born. I hope you are all keeping well and safe in these difficult times. I know you were due to return to work round about this time. I hope Jet is coping without Otis. Melly is still holding his own, Teddy & Fergal & cousin Dessy are all well!!! Xx

That is such a beautiful poem seana, i read it at the pet cremation the other day. It makes me cry every time i read it but also brings comfort as i hope it will to denise and all others who have loved and sadly lost xxxxxxx

To fellow Tribe members....I'm gutted - our fundraising Easter Parade where I was going to enter as a daffodil has been cancelled. My 4 legged mum is gutted that her Mother's Day Lunch and VE Day Tea Dance have been cancelled too because of mean old Corona Virus.... I was hoping to go on our roadshows to show how naughty - I mean how great greyhounds can be but I'm staying at home now because they are all cancelled too..... That means no fundraising to look after the dogs at Daybreaks. Tears falling at such sad news. My heart is crying for you Denise. If it should be that I grow weak, and pain should keep me from my sleep, then you must do what must be done, for this last battle can not be won. You will be sad, I understand, don't let your grief then stay your hand, for this day more than all the rest, your love for me must stand the test. We've had so many happy years, what is to come can hold no fears, you'd not want me to suffer so, the time has come please let me go. Take me to where my needs they'll tend, and please stay with me until the end, hold me firm and speak to me, until my eyes no longer see. Please do not grieve, it must be you who has this painful thing to do, we've been so close, we two these years, don't let your heart hold back the tears. RIP Charlie, run free brave boy.
