Susie is settling in really well with her big brother Eric and sisters Blitz & Mavis. She has for the past two days enjoyed sunbathing, eating and having lots of love. She is adorable, loves any attention (and she’s getting that by the bucket load) she’s gentle with treats and doesn’t pester at the table. She has the perfect manners and walks nicely on the lead. She has so much to give, in fact she’s just an all round star! Xxxx

I'm pretty sure pets at home sell burns food dearer I know , and I do know the shop at walsall and oldbury the one I use for Trish are still open,maybe worth a phone call if people finding it hard to find supplies.May you all take good care of yourselves and all the greyhounds too. Daybreaks Diary!

I popped to the kennels this morning to collect some stuff, feed the cats and our resident chicken, Pepper (aka McNuggets)! Sorry Ruth. X It was eerily quiet, I am so used to hear the exciting barking of the dogs when they hear the gate open. As Kate said, Christmas foster is very different. So soul destroying that we have no dog's in :((( I really don't know what else to say apart from stay safe and well, look after yourselves and your precious hounds, and thanks to everyone who has been in and helped. You are all amazing and hope you are all well. Jo xx

I have a thief in the house no one is owning up but me thinks it might be one handsome new addition to the family. The biscuit treat container has been raided and taken to someone’s bed???? Thankfully there wasn’t a lot in it.

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hope everyone is safe a well! Washing their paws! It’s very odd that the hoomans are here all the time but I’m very happy because I love them so much! It will be very weird when life is normal again! I get spoilt! The hoomans give me treats and when they Fuss me they can’t stop! Daddy was fussing me and he fell asleep! I barked and kicked him to wake him up! He can’t stop! Not allowed! Lubs Russ! Xx Note from hoomans: It has been just under 3 months since we adopted Russ! How time flies! We wouldn’t be without him. He gives us so much comfort especially in times like this! He makes us laugh everyday with his funny moment. Washing up bowl in the living room all the time and toys hitting our faces every time he gets playful! Stealing the sofa and roaching! Little greyhound farts when stretching in our faces! He is funny. Ever since we have lost Barney, Russ has really helped with his love. We still miss him everyday and wish he was still here with us to meet Russ! I know he is looking down at us smiling knowing we are happy! Anyway off to severe master Russ! Thank you daybreaks and Barney for giving us the perfect Grey! Hope you all stay safe! - Russ’ Family! Xx
