Well Miss Kylie, it must be something in the genes!! This shy and quiet little soul is definitely a cheeky monkey waiting to emerge!! When I popped her back in the kennel this morning after being let out for a wee - she jumped up onto the bed, plopped down onto her back with her legs in the air - and promptly rolled & squirmed for ages, wrapping blankets all round herself and making such a cute sound! Kennel mate Rose just looked on in amazement!! Bless you my sweet little girl. xx

A cuddle for Kylie tonight. :)) If after reading Jeff's comments about Celia today you think you would like a real character like her...why not come and meet her sister Kylie! They do seem very alike, she is quite shy and oh so tiny but I am sure there is a BIG, bright, cheeky girl inside waiting to escape! :))) Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

It was great to see both Lola and Harry reserved today! 🙂 Xx We had plenty of willing walkers today and the weather was fine so all enjoyed their walks. Xx Thanks so much to the visitors who dropped off bedding for us. I was surprised by the doorbell ringing at 5.30pm from a lovely couple with a donation of duvets. 🙂 Please can I ask anyone who uses the sand run to remember to pick up any little deposits their dogs might leave behind. 🙂 Sadly one of our regular customers picked up numerous "extras" in the sand when she came to use the run recently. We need to make sure the run is safe and clean for everyone's use. Thanks so much. Xx. We have another new arrival due in tomorrow. :)) Thank you to everyone for all your help today. 🙂 Xxx

TC and mom went out earlier and left me for ages and ages and ages with my Welsh Uncle Ian. TC came home on his own. Seems mom has gone to the ysbyty for an opzerashin and won't be back till Saturday at the earliest. I'm having a huff because she's not here. Lubs to all Florence x x

Just a gentle head and ear rub babes, that's all you need, even the lady on the walk today didn't mind when you jumped at her and put muddy paw prints on her coat, do you know why? , because you are so lovely and gentle and loving and affectionate ..that's why

Longingforagrey, that's what I thought, I do like dogs with a crazy personality though and Celia has a personality larger than anything ..ever, so unexpected but quite welcome, after all when you commit to a dog, you commit no matter what and when you commit to a Greyhound, you have no choice anymore, I will learn how to keep her calm and happy and she probably will continue to be a crazy Young lady but above all, I made the right choice at the right time , Celia is unique

OMG the new Carrie for fame, Celia is a complete Looney and off the scale with unruliness, I would like to know please who told her that by going home with me she wouldn't and couldn't do ever do anything wrong enough for me to bring her back, I am so glad that The Daybreaks Trust is not bound by retail laws as she would be getting returned as " goods not as described" this nervous gentle reserved young lady is a complete Crazy hound and to see her laid on her back feet in the air as she is now is lovely, I'm off to blow raspberries on her belly ...goodnight
