It was lovely to see Amber today, she is a feisty lady! :)) I am sure the right boy is out there for her. We will keep looking! 🙂 Sending her my cuddle tonight Kate Xxx...... Have just looked at Ambers family tree, her Grandfather was my lovely Twiggy's Father! Another feisty lady!! Must be a family trait!! :)) Xxx

The rain was back today!! We were able to do morning walks but the rain was so heavy this afternoon walks were abandoned 🙁 Instead the dogs had a break from their kennels and enjoyed a groom. 🙂 I met Zoey, Paddy and Harry today. Zoey is a very cute little girl and all I can say about the boys is, Wow! They are both gorgeous :))) Lucy was hoping to take photos of all our new arrivals this afternoon but it wasn't really photo shoot weather! 🙁 Thanks so much to everyone for their help today, Alan cheered us up when he and Paddy arrived with the donuts! :)) xx Xxx

We are looking for a new friend for Amber after losing Casper before Christmas. She is very sad on her own. Today was our first visit and Amber would like to apologise to Drew, Blue, Ed and Paddy for her behaviour. Thanks Kate and team for your help and understanding. We'll keep trying!

Last night I slept very well! Today has been eventful though... It all started with going to the vets... Not a great start to the day in my opinion but oh well. They were the horrible people that made me feel pain. Nothing to worry about today though just had my vaccination. All went well and apparently I was a very good boy! The vet checked me over to see how I have recovered from the op! Again she said it has all healed amazingly well! I saw two cats there. I was giving them a good stare but nothing worryingly and didn’t go for them or get excited. After that eventful morning we all went to Pets At Home! That was fun. While we were there I saw a spaniel who I was very good with. We got to the till and I saw this pig toy. I instantly wanted it and gave my hoomans the sad eyes so they could get it for me... for £3 they couldn’t grumble... I think the only time they will is when I play with it for about 2 hours... whoops! Russ Xx

I can't believe it is 5 years already since I took Willow home. She was sadly returned on the morning of 15th January 2015 and was home around 2 or 3 hours later! She has been at the kennels with one of her brother's Arry today. As tradition states, she along with the other furry 4 will be enjoying fish fingers and mashed potato tonight. Happy 5th gotcha day little Willow Pillow. Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

A lovely day. Our Wednesday walkers came in this morning, thanks as always. This afternoon we had more lovely volunteers to take the residents for a walk. We had three gorgeous new arrivals, little girl Zoey and two rather large boys, Harry and Paddy. All three are very affectionate and polished off their dinners in no time. Hopefully they will all have a settled night. We are getting ready for our official launch day on Sunday, please come along and join us if you can make it. We really enjoy seeing our ex-residents and their h oomans and hearing all about their antics!. This is our first event since 'going independent'.

Norman took Lola for a trip to the park this morning. She was happy to have a break from the kennels. :)) She is very excited at meeting other dogs but Norman said after she had been in the park for a while she started to calm down. Lola needs someone who is able to help her understand new situations, relax and enjoy life! Xxx
