I’m Homed
Ed went off to the vets this morning for his neutering operation. He travelled great in the car and was such a good boy at the vets. He was very wobbly when I collected him this afternoon, he had also had to have several teeth removed....he almost got to the door but was rather desperate for a wee and left Jade a farewell present on their mat! Oops.....! :)) Ed is a really sweet and lovely lad. Hope he won't have to wait too long for his forever home. Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

Hopefully he will feel better in the morning. Xx So happy to see lovely Pixie reserved today! She is adorable. Xxx We still have photos waiting to be collected of Greyhounds with Santa taken at our Christmas Party...Tommy, Enzo, Marty, Annie, Rocky, Seana's babies and Mason, who isn't a dog! :)) Please collect them when you can. Xxx Please come along to our Launch party on Sunday, we are really looking forward to seeing lots of ex Daybreaks residents, after all that's what Daybreaks is all about finding forever homes for these beautiful dogs! :)) Xxx

Hello everyone! I’m apparently an ‘official rehomed dog’! Yesterday was amazing we all went to the kennels and the only thing I remember about it is sleeping and seeing cats! Was very interesting. Then as I was having the picture taken I caught interest on a bird it was so much fun, I didn’t want to leave. When I got home it got better! I was given a huge caterpillar which has now lost an antennae, whoops I might have got a bit too carried away! After that I got a doggy muffin. How exciting. All I can say is it didn’t last long.... Last night I had an excitable moment! Daddy left for work and I decided to go downstairs and take interest in the hamster! I can’t reach it but I was staring at it and moved everything from the cabinet next to it! I was soon caught out. After that I happily slept! Hehe I am being trained to leave hammy alone! I was left for an hour today! Very rude. I didn’t damage anything which was good but I dug the rug up! Hehe! When they returned I barked at them for ignoring me because they were too busy putting the shopping away. Just rude! I forgave them when they gave me a new toy. It’s a pig but sounds like a duck. Very strange. So that meant I had a mad 10 minutes taking all the toys out and annoying the hoomans with squeaks. Not long now until I meet Florence, very exciting. The good thing about our house is we have been getting a lot of squiggles recently so it very exciting! We can chase them down the garden together! See you Friday! Russ! Xx

What a lovely girl Pixie is. :)) She retired due to a hock injury. Her Trainer says she is a happy girl and her hock has healed very well. Xx I am sure she will bring be a little ray of sunshine to the family who is lucky enough to take her home. Xxx

Russ was officially adopted today. :)) He is a very lucky lad. Xxx I met new arrivals Bindi and Pixie, they are both gorgeous, happy girls. :)) Thanks to everyone who helped out today, Yvonne was fab and manned the phone whilst Ruth, Jo and I had a meeting :)) Thanks so much to all our walkers who braved the wind and the rain. Xxx Xxx

I met and walked this super little girl today. She walked beautifully, although she didn't like the rain!!!. She was walking alongside Lola with no problem. Back at her kennel she happily gave me each of her paws to dry and really enjoyed a fuss. She has gorgeous eyes and a gentle demeanour. Lovely, lovely girl. Hugs for her xxxx

What a very nice boy Ed is. He walks very nicely on the lead and is quite responsive to voice request i.e 'wait, walk on,. Back in his kennel he loves fuss and his toy monkey!!! Big cuddles for him xxx
