Daybreaks Diary!

I dropped Little Kylie off at the vets first thing this morning for her neutering operation. Such a tiny girl weighing just 22Kg she looked a little lost on their scales! Xxx Bob and Declan went off to the track to collect our latest new arrivals Beano and Queenie both beautiful girls. 🙂 Lucy took some fantastic photos of them! Xx Amber came in to meet Trebles again...all went quite well. :)) Drew came in again with Shirley and Richard. He is recovering well from his dental and enjoying his time with them and their Greyhound family. He is being a really good boy and he will be staying with them for a few more days. :))) Thanks so much to Shirley and Richard for sorting all the tinned food in the kitchen. We are so very grateful to everyone who donates food for our Daybreaks residents. You can be sure they appreciate it. Xx Alan was back from his holiday and normal service with the Thursday donuts was resumed! :)) Thank you Alan! Xxx Thanks so much to everyone for their help today. Xxx

Kylie went off to the vets first thing this morning for her neutering operation. She was a very good girl in the car but a very nervous little girl at the vets and was was very grateful for a big hug from Debbie their Receptionist. She was a lot happier although sleepy when I picked her up later this afternoon. She only needed one tooth removed :)) We left her dinner in her kennel and when I checked the cameras later this evening she had eaten it all. :))) Such a cute little girl! Xxx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Paddy mugged me today!!!! I went into his kennel to put his lead on and my shoulder bag slipped forward, so Paddy took the opportunity to help himself to the doggy cup cake, my fault I should have zipped my bag, he practically ate it in one go, paper case included. I reported him to Kate and apologised for any adverse outcome! He is a seriously lovely boy despite his criminal tendencies. Big cuddle for him tonight xxxx

Wow what a difference a week at Daybreaks makes. Last Thursday this little girl was too scared to venture far, this week I took a doggy cup cake to see if I could lure her, but it wasn't required as she trotted along with Ringo and Blue very happily. I did however use a little piece of cake to get her back into her kennel. She's a super little girl. Xxxxx

Ringo gives lovely kisses, he walks so nicely and is such a happy boy. He walks happily with the other dogs is not bothered by the traffic noise and completely ignored a cyclist who passed him quite closely on the pavement. Fantastic boy. Xxxxx
