So at Christmas mom says that Auntie Deborah, Uncle Ian and cousin Samantha are coming to stay. Mom says that they are so sad about losing cousin Barney that they are bringing Drew with them. He is related to me and Barney so she says he’s my cousin too and we are going to have a lovely time together. Unfortunately Drew is not cat friendly so we’ve got to be really careful with SFFs Coco and Maud. Please can you all pray that it goes well? Looking forward to meeting you Drew. Lubs to all Florence xxx p.s do you have a really waggy tail and like to swap beds? X

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Beautiful little Lou went home today! She has a new name Sunny! :)) It was a dreary day but seeing her go home certainly made it feel like the sun was shining! :)) I took Floss to the vets for her neutering operation, she was not happy about going at all and she took a lot of persuasion to get her into the vets! I went to collect her this afternoon and she didn't want leave the vets...thanks to Declan and Adam who carried her out of the car when we got back. :)) She is such a very sweet little girl. Xxx We are so grateful to Rosie for taking Celia and Princess for their neutering operations at the Moseley branch of Fivelands. They stayed with her and Paul last night ready for their ops today. Xxx Rosie swapped them tonight for Britney who will be going for her op tomorrow. Russ was due to join her but unfortunately one of the vets is off ill. I am sure Russ won't be too concerned! He gets to keep everything for a while longer! :)) Shirley and Richard left early this morning to carriy out a home visit for us. it was some distance but all went well. Thanks so much to them and Murphy! It was horrible weather to be driving anywhere. Xxx The photos taken at the Christmas party of the dogs with Santa are ready! Some have been sent out in the post and others can be collected from the kennels. Please call us and we can let you know if yours are at the kennels. Thanks so much to Lucy for all her hard work, they look great! Thanks too to Santa, he was exhausted by the time he had met all of our good boys and girls! :)) Xxx Thanks so much to everyone for their help today. Xxx Special thanks to Jo who ended up with the calls all day as we were unable to transfer the calls back to the kennels. Xxx Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A frustrating day....we are still having problems with our phone line. :(( I spoke to Plusnet this morning. Spoke to a very helpful lady who tested the line for us and said there was a fault. Alan and I enjoyed the Christmas songs on the "hold" music while she checked :)However due to a lack of engineers, the earliest anyone can check out the junction box will be Monday. 🙁 We have a mobile we can use, so please call on the 0121 782 7702 and we should be able to answer your calls. Xxx

I think this is wonderful and things work out as they should. I think drew becoming unreserved was definetly a sign from barney as he would hate such good parents to go to waste if you didn't help another hound! I really fell for drew on the santa day, he's 100% my type! Good luck xxx

It was a difficult decision to foster after what has happened. Once again we want to thank everyone for the messages over the past few days. We know that Barney would love us to help another grey and we are going to see how the ‘foster’ goes with Drew. We have had our eye on this boy for a while and last week he had a connection with Barney while visiting Santa. The fact that he became unreserved when walking into the kennels gave us a sign. We really discussed the decision and felt we had to give it a go. We can promise he will be well looked after during Christmas! We are really hoping everything goes well and we know Barney is cheering us on! Xx
