Hi Greytness, again this shy little girl has hopefully got herself a home, just as long as she gets on with the other grey. She has been great kennled with Princess and are both unmuzzled.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A cold, bright busy day today. Gorgeous little Evie finally got her forever home, she also has two beautiful sisters to live with. It was little nervous Celia's turn next, she has been reserved bless her. Thanks as always to our Wednesday walkers and our college placement students for their hard work. We had several visitors for nail clipping and sand run fun. Thanks for all the donations that we received. I spoke to Santa yesterday, as you know he will be dropping into the kennels on Sunday to pay us and all the hounds a visit. He assures me that his reindeer have had their feet polished and shined in readiness for the occasion! Going to try and get me feet warm now!

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Lovely Trebles went home today. 🙂 He has a lovely new name, Mr.Pip. :)) Maggie (his new Mom) and I had lots of fun thinking of all the great characters in Charles Dickens novels whose names would suit a Greyhound! There were many! 🙂 xx It was Knight's turn for the trip to the vets today. He is a big bouncy boy and so very handsome. He was great in the car, sat down for a while and then decided to look out of the window and observe the outside world. He was no trouble at all. He met s couple of other dogs in the waiting room and was very good with them. :)) Shirley and Richard very kindly collected him this afternoon. They said all the staff at the vets had fallen for him. :)) Xxx Ruth popped in to see us for a while. She brought along a challenge for Richard and Declan! She wanted some posh fairy lights putting up ready for the party and as usual they excelled themselves and they lights look great!! We also had a surprise visit from Father Christmas and lovely Mrs. Christmas. 🙂 He wanted to check out where he will be meeting and discussing Christmas lists with all his "good" Greyhounds on Sunday! :)) How exciting! Xx Thanks so much to everyone for your help today. It was great to see you all. Skip had lots of friends for company. :)) Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Just thought I'd share this, made me smile......This afternoon I was walking 'The Boys' Dexter and Douggie down the leafy industrial estate, I had just crossed over the road of a works entrance when a car was pulling out after me, the driver, a young man of about 25, wound down his window and shouted at the top of his voice...'That's a nice pair of Greyhounds yer got there darlin', I said thank you very much then had a little chuckle to myself, I'm assuming that he was talking about the dogs lol xxxxxxxx
