2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
A great day for some of our residents today! :)) Artie went home this morning 🙂 She was such a patient girl waiting for us to finish the paperwork...she kept sitting down like a "real" dog and looking out of the window watching the world go by. :)) xx A lovely family came to visit Kristoff and then fell in love with Lou! However by the end of the day our beaufutlu Kristoff also found himself reserved!:)) This afternoon Meena went home. Apologies again to her new family, it was very busy at the kennels so the paperwork took a while to complete. 🙂 She is such a very sweet girl. Xxx Ruth came in with Tommo to meet his new family and he went off to his new home too. :)) in between homings and viewings we had a surprise visit from our old friends Saddle & Roy. I'm sure many of you will remember them. The brothers who we were desperate to find a home for them to go to together. It was great to see Helen and Andy their Mom and Dad. Helen was quite smitten with Sparky who is their litter brother. They all seemed to like each other! You could see she was trying to figure out if they could saueeze another member into their family! I took a new photo of them and popped it on the Daily Diary page. Bless them. They look very happy indeed. Xx Thanking Helen for the lovely donation raised by herself and colleagues at her place of work. Xx We als had visits for customers wanting their nails cut and teeth scraping. :)) It was a chilly day and it's going to be a cold night again. If your new to having a Greyhound in the winter months, please don't forget that they really do feel the cold, so be like me and chase them round trying to put their fleecy coats on before they lie down in their beds. :)) Thanks so much to everyone for your help today! :))) Xxx
