Over the Rainbow Bridge
Oh my goodness! I am in love with Trebles....Xx He is a great lad. He is quite reserved at the moment but greets you with a waggy tail. He met Sara's Border Collie, Louis this morning and was great with him. This afternoon when there was so much going on with lots of visitors, he was content to snooze in his kennel laying on his back with legs in the air! :)) It's a good thing I have a full house! :)) Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

We had a very busy day with lots of visitors wanting to meet our boys and girls. :)) It was great and resulted in Tommy being reserved! :)) We also have several people asking to come back tomorrow for another visit. :))) Fingers crossed for more reservations! Xxx Sweet little Louise, now called Roxy went home this morning. She is such a lovely girl. Xxx Artie arrived! What a super girl. She is a little older than some of our other residents. She is a very happy, bouncy girl who loved everyone she met! It was great to see ex Daybreaks girl Ladysmith, she looked as beautiful as ever with her beautiful shiny coat. 🙂 Thanks to her Mom and Dad for all the items they brought in for our donation table. Very kind of them. Xx Many thanks to all our lovely volunteers who helped out today with everything. Amazingly it didn't rain and the dogs enjoyed two walks. 🙂 We have a new supply of coats and fleeces if you need something warm and cosy for your Greyhound. :)) Xxx

Today, I saw the mischievous side of Finnie, he reached back, pulled his velcro on the coat to undo it, then slip the coat over his head. Like Houdini! Lovely boy, very friendly.

Walked Scruff today. She gave me a giggle as I went to get her - she tried to escape! I think she wanted to start the walk without me. She walked very well. A lovely little girl. I hope she finds her forever home very soon.

Saw Artie today. Despite having only arrived this morning after a very long racing career she wasn't timid at all. She was happy for me to go into her kennel and give her some fuss. She walked well. I hope someone gives her a home soon. She deserves it after all those races.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

We still have some tickets for our Countdown to Christmas event next Saturday 23 November. We have stalls selling merchandise for both humans and dogs, as well as a hot festive buffet, floor show and bar. Come along and support the kennels. Get your tickets now as we need to know for catering purposes. It will be a great night, we have a floor show from our brave talent crew and also a little surprise (I hope)!!! Come on, get your tickets before it's too late. Birmingham Exiles Rugby Club. Come on you know you want to, it's all for Daybreaks. Xx
