Over the Rainbow Bridge
What a lovely older chap! It was very sad to have to go and pick Tommo up today. He looks a lot like Bobby...a distinguished gentleman. His owner says he loves to go for a walk and he loves his food. 🙂 Fingers crossed he will find a home he can spend his time enjoying a leisurely life with lots of love and affection. Xxx

Very sadly Kate and I have just been out to pick up Tommo. His owner is awaiting an operation so hasn't been able to walk him and is also no longer able to afford to keep him. He is 11 years old - a bit creaky on his legs, his eyes aren't brilliant and he is even greyer that he was 5 years ago! If there anybody who could find it in their hearts to offer him a home for his twilight years? Ruth x

Ok, go in the kennel with Evie's harness. She lies on her side on the bed and waves her front paws. Harness over head, tummy rub, clip harness, another tummy tub hold lead, say 'come on then let's go' off she jumps, clip other side of harness and off she trots ready for the next game, sniffing!!. She is such a playful, fun girl. Xxxxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
It was great to see Trebles reserved today! He is going to have a lovely home with a very pretty Greyhound sister to share his life with. :)) Xxx Meena went off to the vet first thing for her neutering operation. She was such a good girl in the car. She was very wobbly on her return to the kennels. She also had to have two teeth removed, so a lot to go through in one day. :(( We popped her in the big kitchen kennel for the the night so she could be on her own. Hopefully she will feel better tomorrow. Xxx It was lovely and sunny today but very chilly! Thanks so much to everyone who came in to help out, it was great to not get wet for a change. :)) x It was good to see Ruth today, she was busy sorting out the items that have been bought on the recent silent auction. 🙂 Xx Xxx

Got home today to a strange-looking envelope, Its not my birthday and its too early for Christmas ,I should have really made the connection because I have always had Cards from my vets after my dogs have passed over, but this one was beyond amazing, it contained a separate Card with Carla's paw print on it and the words "When tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me , I'm right here, inside your heart", on that note this will be my last post on Carla's page, love you Mummy xx

Really pleased for you but sad I will not be able to foster you for Christmas......need a placid easy going boy or girl to get along with my 3 but still a few weeks to go yet to see who is the best fit.

Met and walked fabulous Finnie today. Hes delightful. Seems to like to walk on a taut lead but doesn't pull and back in his kennel he was so loving and those soulful eyes just melt you. Cuddles for him tonight xxx

Dewey, so very pleased that you are doing well. I think as Kate said you need to work on your staff, completely unacceptable that one of your beds has not been moved to the day position. Your staff need to be brought into line, honestly, I mean, your bed in the wrong place, what sort of hotel is this?? Really!!!
