Roxy was reserved twice today!! Her new family visited her last week and were coming back to see her again at lunchtime today. First thing this morning a member of the family called on behalf of the lady to reserve her as a surprise for her husband. Xx Then a little later the gentleman called in to reserve Roxy for his wife! Both were worried if they didn't reserve her she would be reserved by someone else before they came back to see her! It was confusing... but so lovely, she was obviously the right girl for them. :))) Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

It was a very busy day at the kennels. 🙂 Tommy went home! 🙂 He has a super new family. Everyone was so excited to be adopting him. 🙂 Be a good boy Tommy. :)) Xx By lunchtime Roxy and Shelly had been reserved! 🙂 Xxx We had several other viewings and customers for nail clipping. 🙂 We finished a little earlier tonight so we could get to the Countdown to Christmas event. :). It was a lovely evening and so nice to see lots of our friends and supporters. Thanks so much to everyone who helped organise the event. Xxx Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along tonight to support Countdown to Christmas. We had a great evening, and the Daybreaks Got Talent cast were fabulous in the floorshow. As soon as we have totalled everything up I will let you know how much we raised for our boys & girls. Thank you again - we are truly grateful for your support. Angie xx

Drew had a great trip out this afternoon to the Mell Square roadshow. He did really well, coping with all the people, the attention and the occasional passing dog and pigeon. So many people complemented him on his looks, his condition and his size! He was especially good with children. He’s earnt his tea today! Hopefully his efforts will be rewarded soon.

So very happy for Crazy Maisie Moo. She has such a fantastic home. Such a different dog than that who arrived at the kennels. Just goes to show what love and dedication can do. She is so happy and so is her Dad, have to say, made for each other. She is one extremely spoiled girl. Just love picking her up to come to the kennels, she travels so well in the car with my Arry. X

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Another quiet Friday at Daybreaks, but our boys & girls were able to have both morning and afternoon walks and fortunately it stayed dry. The highlight of the day was when the FFP club gained another member - the lovely Maisie has been officially signed up, yay! We have had a last minute rush and all the printed tickets for Countdown to Christmas have been sold! If you would still like to come along, please do so and as you wont have been catered for and will miss out on the buffet, we can offer a discounted ticket rate on the door. Well it's the weekend again - and it's a busy one too. Let's hope that by Monday morning we will have some red or green signs on some kennel doors, and we will have raised lots of money at the various events for the ongoing care of our boys & girls. It is most definitely wine time very soon, and I will raise my glass for a successful weekend - see some of you tomorrow evening hopefully, but whatever you are doing - stay dry and enjoy! Cheers. What a difference between the shy little girl on Saturday morning to the confident young lady this afternoon. You were so funny trying to climb onto my lap to give me kisses and cuddles. If I don't see you before you go home be a good girl and enjoy your well deserved retirement. x
