Well this morning was horrible! I ended up in the torture vet building. Don’t worry there isn’t anything wrong just went for a horrible booster! I had a needle in me! Worst thing is after that I was forced to have my nails cut! Disgusting! Good thing out of it was the lady gave me a treat! You know I love food! The hoomans said I was a very good boy and I was a lot braver than I was last time! Lubs Barney! Xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
I'm sure I wasn't the only one to get up to a monsoon outside this morning! I was hoping none of my furry friends would want a walk but Fletch and Skip showed willing...so I had to show some enthusiasm too!! :)) Needless to say we got extremely wet! It was still raining when we opened up the kennels. Poor little Wilma had to come out in the rain to go to the vets to be neutered. She was very wobbly when we picked her up this afternoon. I checked the cameras a short while ago and she has eaten her dinner. 🙂 she also had to have one tooth removed. She is a very sweet girl, hope she will soon find her forever home. Xx Richard and Declan were on leak control! We had a small leak from the roof where the top and bottom block meet. They fixed it :)) Fortunately everywhere else was ok. Sadly it was too wet to go on morning walks but this afternoon was a little better and all the dogs managed to get out. Thanks to everyone for braving the stormy weather. 🙂 Shirley brought in some homemade doggie biscuits for the Trust dogs. I did sample two of them! :)) Peanut butter and oats and the other had Apple sauce in it 🙂 They tasted good to me!! Talking of food...who needs Mr. Kipling when we have our very own Seana who makes exceedingly good cakes! We all enjoyed some left over chocolate cake from Saturday evening. It certainly brightened up a very rainy day, thanks Seana :))) The new photo shows our three lovely Brindle boys, Tiger, Tommy and Willis waiting for their lunch today. 🙂 Xx Xxx

Bobby has just spent the week in Woolacombe with Skip, Fletcher, Lyra and my sisters Greyhound Max. He went on all our walks except one we thought might be too much for him. He has walked on the beach, over the hills and along the costal paths! He is a truly amazing and wonderful lad. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

It was my first day back after being away in Devon for a week. I thought I had put my alarm on too early as when I arrived at the kennels there was just me! :)) I am so grateful to Shirley, Maisie, Mervin and Magics Mom for her help first thing. She had only come in to use the run. :)) And to Angie who looked after Socks and Tyke. Xxx By walk time there were extra hands...I had the pleasure of walking the very gorgeous Razzle, can't believe he is still waiting for his forever home! I also took Elmer out for a stroll. He is such a lovely lad. Walks beautifully on the lead and is adorable. Thankfully all the doggies had "nice" poos today! No diarrhoea :)) We get quite excited over poo and have even been known to take photos!! Sending lots of love to little Jasmine tonight. She had a dental today. Her lovely Mom, Amanda spent the the day helping us at the kennels while waiting for her op to be finished. Hope she is doing ok. Amanda, so grateful for your help. Xxx
