Debs has been an absolute star and perfect house guest. Her adorable face was looking at me this morning from her bed on the floor so I’ve added the photo.... she has been clean in the house and has taken the antics of Tig and being growled at by Momma Lisa in her stride... guess she’ll be coming home again tonight with me! If only I had the space for another as I’ve loved her from the day she arrived x

Daisy, I'm so happy for you (although I am sad I won't get to say goodbye to you as you'll be gone by Friday). I had the pleasure of meeting your new bruvva Stanley yesterday and your new mummy and daddy. They are going to love you so much and you'll have an amazing life with them. Be a good girl. x

Treaty is adorable. A real character. I went in to his kennel yesterday to give him a brush and fuss and was welcomed very enthusiastically. He soon settled down and stood still for ages letting me brush him. He gave me lots of licks and didn't want me to leave. I witnessed his "game" later on with chasing around the run not wanting his coat on! He'll make someone a great pet. I hope he gets his chance very soon.

Ok, so not Auntie Shirley. Shame as that means I probably wont get to see you again....sad..sad....but...a nice family by the sounds of it so that is the main objective. I hope they will love and cherish you and that you will all have many wonderful years together. I will think of you often thats for sure. You are such a special girly Daisy. Lots of love to you and your new family. X

So sorry to hear Debs is feeling under the weather. Not nice for her but hopefully Auntie Ruth's tlc and some time spent with Momma & Tigs will make her smile again. She is such a happy loving girly. X

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Where does the day go?!!! I took Treaty in the sand run this morning and he had a fabulous time running and sniffing in the sun. Shirley and Richard then arrived and brought Daisy over to see her new owners again and they took her in the car to see how she travels with Stanley - she was great! She is off to her new home tomorrow. Debs I am sure was excited to see her old kennel mate but Daisy didn't even acknowledge her!!!! Debs had a trip this afternoon and went off to the vets as she is slightly off her food, still bleeding (this is her second season in quick succession) and has been squatting so we were a little concerned she may have a urine infection and also wanted to check her over as she has been in season for a while. She has has been a little down since Daisy went out to foster so I have decided to take her home tonight to try and cheer her up. Our usual Wednesday crew turned up and my stripy monster Tig accompanied them on the walks - hopefully she will sleep well tonight but I am guessing with an exciting new house guest, rest will not be on the agenda!

Oooh baby girl.....did auntie shirley answer my request???? I do hope so. I am so very very happy for you. Just need to get your ex kennel mate Debs a nice home now. She is also so lovely, dispenses wonderful kisses & cuddles and walks nicely when out on lead. Xx

We went to brush a few of the dogs yesterday afternoon, Blue was curled up in the corner of his bed, so I left him (he had just been groomed). When I walked back past he was standing near the door. So I went in to say hello. He was very friendly, licking and licking me! Very gentle and calm.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Out two new arrivals both had a bath today and lovely photos taken by Lucy 🙂 We have been asked by head office to take them as the branch they were staying in has closed. Hopefully they will soon have their forever homes. They are both very handsome boys! Xxx We had a visit this afternoon from ex Daybreaks resident Stanley and his Mom and Dad. They are hoping to find a friend for him. He does have someone in mind and will be coming back tomorrow to decide! 🙂 Treaty was up to his usual tricks again this afternoon...Shirley was trying to put a coat on him after he ate his dinner, he kept dancing away bouncing around! It took two of us to pin him down and get his pj's on! :)) Thanks so much to everyone for your help today. Xxx
