  • 2019 Daybreaks Diary!

    I’m Homed

A very mixed day with the weather today. The dogs who could go on walks did this morning. After the torrential rain stopped this afternoon they had playtime in the sand run. We had 3 lovely new arrivals this afternoon, Buster, Freddie and Lucy, gorgeous. Thanks so much to Bob and Gloria for picking them up from the track. Thanks also to Katie, Alex and their mom for bathing them upon arrival. Thanks again to Gloria for staying to help with the afternoon jobs. Jet got out this afternoon for a trip to the park with Ruby Rebel and his mom and dad, apparently he was fairly well behaved. Ruth did a home check this morning and then came in with little Tigger pup and Momma Lisa. Momma is in deed getting braver, bless her. Tiggrr is a little whirlwind! Here's to another good week :))

    I’m Homed

A very busy day! 🙂 Ruth and Andy dashed off to the warehouse first thing. Leaving little pup Tig trying to sit in a bed with Skip, who wasn't too impressed! :)) A big thank you to our lovely Duke of Edinburgh volunteer Oli who helped clean the kennels with me this morning and to Gloria for doing lots of walks! As we were very short on help this afternoon Shirley and Richard popped in to help with feeding. Thanks everyone! :))) Handsome lad Buster, now called Eli went off to his new home. His new family were very excited to be adopting him. Do hope all goes well. He is a super boy. Scarlet also went home :)) She was such a good girl and seemed to enjoy modelling coats and fleeces, She looked very pretty in the pink winter blizzard she chose! :)) Frankie was reserved! He will be joining a big four legged family! The family brought several of their dogs with them, Ruth took Frankie in the sand run to meet them. He was such a good boy. :)) Stuart who organises our waiting list is not too well at the moment and is in hospital. Sending him lots of get well wishes. Xx We have more new arrivals tomorrow! :)) Xxx
