Over the Rainbow Bridge
A cuddle for little Nerys, bless her, our first Grey Bridget was so nervous of everything , when we rehomed our beautiful boy Reggie who was so gentle and confident she became a different dog, learned to take fuss off strangers and became a happy confident girl, she just needs time, tlc, and patience and she will flourish xxxxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Was lovely to be warmer today, and the promised rain wasn't as bad as expected so the doggies could enjoy a nice walk this afternoon. Morning sand run playtime was interrupted by a certain young lady and her new Mum!! Pretty little Genie and her new Mum had a lovey time playing in the run, Genie does enjoy playing with a ball bless her. Then her morning got even better as she trotted off to her new home - wishing her lots of happy times ahead. x Nerys was fine this morning following her spey yesterday. I was greeted with a waggy tail when I went into her kennel, but she is incredibly nervous and tries to squash herself as far into the corner as she can. She did eventually come out for her breakfast, which she polished off with no problem, but she is so very wary of people. As Kate has already said she will need plenty of patience and understanding but she is such a little sweetie who deserves that chance. It was a very quiet day so whilst the students got on with health checks and other tasks around the kennels, I had the opportunity to spend some time with my 2 favourite fellas - Jet & Treaty. It is still early days for Jet's new diet, but he has put on a little weight. I have adjusted his food a little and we will see what another week does. He was quite happy for me to sit next to him giving him a fuss - and lay sprawled out, pawing at me if I stopped stroking him!! I also spent some time with the lovely Treaty. After giving me hundreds of kisses, he lay down and was quite content for me to stroke him, pawing at me if I stopped. Both these boys are so affectionate and I really enjoyed being able to spend some quality time with them both. Well, another weekend is upon us - so that means I have wine and make a wish for forever homes for our boys & girls, especially those that have been waiting so patiently for such a long time. Fingers crossed it happens for them soon.x Have a great weekend all. Angie xx

Eli (aka Buster) had his home check done this morning.... Eli will be an "therapy" dog to one special little young lady.... She is so happy... Hes going to have a fab life. Xx
