Over the Rainbow Bridge
What a cutie this little girl is. she was very shy when I went into her kennel to lead up for a walk but had her lead put on without a fuss and set off willingly. She was NOT impressed by the traffic on the main road and did a bit of dancing about, but once in the lane she calmed down and walked fine. Once back in her kennel she was very affectionate with a nice waggy tail and happy to be cuddled. a really sweet little girl. xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A bit warmer today, as always thanks to our Wednesday walkers. Very quiet for visitors, in fact only one person came in. This did, however result in lovely boy Buster being reserved, yay :)) Our two new arrivals Nervous Nerys and Springy Sam are such different characters. Nerys did venture off her bed this morning wagging her tail a bit when I went to see her, by the end of the day she seemed quite a bit more confident, very waggy and kissy. Sam it would appear has totally forgotten he was neutered yesterday, I really think he wanted to join the other dogs for a walk. He took some convincing to stop springing up in his kennel and in the inside run! Ruth had a day working away from the kennels, it is sometimes the only way to catch up on the reams of paperwork she has to get through, it is impossible to do otherwise, it is so easy to get sidetracked if you are on site no matter how convinced you are that it won't happen! Dogs were all in bed with their heating on when we left, they all looked so warm and cosy. Hope tomorrow is a good day for everyone. X

It's nearly 6 months since gorgeous Jet arrived at the kennels. He is handsome, cute, walks well on his lead, understands some voice commands, is very loving, wants to please. Aren't these the traits we're all looking for in a partner? BIG CUDDLES JET

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Last year I lost my precious boys Joseph (March) and Foxy (August). For many reasons I felt I needed a break from adopting but now feel the time is right...... I am sure Foxy has sent Tig the Terror to take his place!! She is certainly doing that and at just 6 months old and born with a wonky leg she is still managing to tear about the house bless her..... Momma is nervy girl with a crusty nose but we are already getting tail wags 🙂
