2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Rummy went off to his new home today, do hope all goes well for him and his new family Xxx It was great to see Ruth and Andy today. Tried not to let Ruth do too much! She supervised while we started to put the Christmas decorations up ready for the party tomorrow....Santa's Grotto is looking good!:) please bring your Greyhound along to meet him. :))) Thanks so much for everyone's help today. Xxx

Well today has been a cheeky day. Well according to my humans anyway. It all started with my sister getting out three things with little doors. She opened one that had a number on it. I didn’t think about it while they were having theirs but as soon as she was getting them out for the little hamsters I started to think. Grab the weird thing with a little chocolate in and run off. Unfortunately she caught me so I ended up waiting. After the hamsters had theirs I had mine. Trust me it didn’t last long not even a second. This morning when mum woke up I was uncomfortable so I decided to do a bit of moaning. This led to my human waking up moving off the bed to allow me to jump on. Yes I did take all the room so she couldn’t get back on! Barney xx

Well yesterday was my gotcha day !! It’s 5 years since I moved to the country- we had jato since then, and of course Archive was here before me. I is a bit grey round the edges but still running about like a baby. Thanks to everyone who has thought about Archive after he has had his op, he was home less than 24 hours after - cos he is better here than at the vets! So he can get up by himself and go outside (with his harness for a bit of help) he is on big drugs which for us delicate greyhounds is a bit nasty but mummy says is best he has them. To my cousin Layla enjoy your new sofa. X Lubs to all Mostly Auntie Ruth . Breezie. Xxx

Update on Spritz today from her foster parents..... Spritz went for a dressing change this morning. The Vet is very pleased with her progress, the wound has shrunk again and looks very clean. She is also well on the mend following her terrible illness last week, just a couple more blood tests on Monday to ensure things are still going in the right direction. She was an absolute star at the Vet's and everyone there has fallen in love with her. So happy for this most special little lady. x
