Hi everyone, happy to say that I'm recovering well after my op and I'll be allowed home tomorrow. It's true, I told the anaesthetist all about Brandy as it turned out he was a hound fan! Can't wait to get our boy home xxx

Still wondering why this little sweetie is still waiting. If only our resident hound wasn’t prone to bouts of absolute vileness, he would have Liza as company!

Dear Brandy Your new mum had her operation yesterday and is so looking forward to taking you home and snuggling you to bits. She even told her Anaesthetist all about you yesterday xxx

I am puzzled as to why this fabulous hound hasn't yet found his forever home. He is absolutely gorgeous. Very regal. Lovely to walk very friendly and enjoys interacting. Hope his wait won't be too much longer. Xxxx

Walking Kirsty this afternoon was a delight. When I went into the kennel to put her lead on she was wagging her tail so much and I thought she would be strong on the lead but after her initial enthusiasm she settled and walked so nicely. What a lovely girl and very pretty xxx

Took the incredibly handsome and friendly Reggie out for a walk this afternoon. He walked perfectly and seems quite at ease sharing his kennel with Kirsty. Xxx

Agents 770 (aka Carrie) and 1230 (aka Carla), reporting in, sorry its been a while but we've been busy on the Greyhound mission of taking over every bed and sofa in the U.K., We are both pleased to report that we now have taken the Bed as our own, We are both well, just thought we'd say hello and let you all know we have accomplished our mission . Sometimes Jeff says things like "off" and ruffles the quilt, that means we have to move to a different place on the bed. He still sometimes gets on the bed though, anyone have any tips on how to stop him As ever loads of Love, Carrie and Carla xx

    I’m Homed

A little milder today, all dogs that could go on walks managed morning and afternoon walks. Thanks as always to our Wednesday walkers, Helen and Dave we missed you and do hope that everything is ok. X Ruth, Lisa and Jill headed off to the Swan office to collect the trees, decorations and other stuff for our open day on Sunday, It was lovely to see Ruth, she is still not well 🙁 A bit of good news, Buddy has put on a little more weight, around half a kilo this week, so is heading in the right direction. He spent some time in the office and was such a good boy, bless him. Very quiet for visitors today. Nick was taken to the park by his new 'mom', Denise and myself had to get him back out of the car when he came back, he really did not want to come back into the kennels, little monkey! Well, it looks like a busy few days ahead setting up for Sunday's open day, if anyone can spare some time to help set up we would be extremely grateful. Is should be a greyt day, we have Santa, a brass band, refreshments, raffles and of course merchandise for sale. Please come and support us, you know it's for a good cause. Thanks for all your fantastic donations for raffle and tombola prizes, you are all so generous, there are some fab items up for grabs. Take care all, Jo x
