Well this afternoon has been fun. Florence has just left after a great afternoon with her. We shared a few kisses, don’t tell anyone! Her mommy asked if we could look after her. We had treats but Florence was slow on eating hers. I offered to show her how it was done but I was soon stopped by my sister, which was unfair. There was a round of zoomies in the garden. We both circled the garden for around 5 minutes. We came back inside and had a sleep session. Once Anutie Klaire returned to pick Florence up we got very excited. Maybe too excited. I’m sad she has gone but I’m currently back in my bed which she very much enjoyed sleeping in while she was here. Talk soon, Barney Xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Another good day today. We saw lovely Bella reserved by a family with a daughter named Bella! Thanks for all the donations of food and bedding too. As always thanks to our volunteers, we managed morning walks and this afternoon was grooming time! I had a call from Leo's mom, he is settling really well and is not phased by anything, even other dogs, squirrels on the other hand are another matter. Hoping all continues to go well for him and his family. xx

Spoke to Wills family this morning.... He is happy and they love him loads.... He has found his forever family..... Even after a couple of episodes of howling when they go out, he has now totally settled and they are watching youtube videos we have recomnended... Well done Will and family... See you soon. X

We are all so sorry to hear the sad news of your lovely girls' passing. We will always have fond memories of her, especially the gold test when honey and macca achieved their one and only 'go to bed'. Sleep tight beautiful girl xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Re the show next month,will there be a schedule to look at before the day ,we haven't been before but would like to bring Jay and Petal along ,even if we don't enter!! Both are doing very well and get along great.Their only vice is they are still so very keen when we meet moving cats or squirrels when on a walk,dont know how I will cope with both of them on the occasions that I have to take them on my own when Barry starts his bowling again next week !!!Ant tips gratefully received !!

Did anyone watch coronation street last night with the greyhound on? Fab advertisement for the breed as he lies on the sofa of apparent strangers house with children all over him! Hopefully that'll encourage more people to have them! Xxx

Liza done fab at Melbicks today, she loved being out getting used to all the new sounds and smells. She loved everyone esp children who she happily leaned up against and had snuggles... She is best suited with dogs roughly her size and above and she gets a little too excited with smaller ones... One fab girl though. X
