Very pleased about this. We went for a walk with Rose and her new family today and they are a perfect match. Rose will be so well looked after and will bring a lot of joy to her new Mum & Dad.

Well we went to meet Shiftie today to introduce her & Nifty. We all went a walk together & Shiftie walked beautiful on her lead alongside Nifty. They were going to have a run in the sandrun but it started raining. We will be bringing Shiftie home next week on a trial run to make sure she settles & her & Nifty get on xx

So sad for Nanny. These wonderful hounds have always had a kennel mate and found security and sameness in this. Even at Daybreaks and other RGT homes they have a kennel mate, while waiting for to be re- homed. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for them the first time they are left alone or have to sleep alone. It does sometimes take a while for some to adjust, even with all the love you give them. Then again some are fine and love their own space . They are all different, just like us, and usually like us adjust quickly. We have never had a problem because we have always had 2 at a time.(bit like chocolates, I could never stop at one lol). At least Nanny has now some experience in a home so sure she will find that forever home soon. Good luck beautiful.x

Sadly Nanny has been returned today. She has been finding it very hard to settle at night and when left alone. Her family are very sad to return her. She has been great with their two young children and is good with small dogs. Hopefully she won't have to wait too long for her forever home. Xxx
