If anyone out there wants a nice older and wiser pair of hounds who know the ropes surely Marty and Beauty would be great together (assuming they get on at the kennels?) They both need to be back in a home poor souls. It must be so sad for the owners who have had to hand them back. Fingers crossed there is a good Samaritan out there who can help these deserving Greys. Good Luck babies x

Roary has turned out to be such a lovely dog no, sign of the sad stressy dog who arrived at the kennel last month. He enjoys cuddles, is interested in all the coming and goings and really enjoys his walks. He and Honey get along so well together. xxx

I walked Shiftie today. After 90 races she apparently still thinks she has to run. Initially she wanted to take me to the sand run so the first five minutes were a bit of a tug of war but intelligent girl that she is she soon realised that it was more comfortable to walk nicely and have a good look at the world around her. She is a beautiful little girl who is super friendly . She has lovely eyes and I hope her forever home whether with Nifty (who I loved walking when he was at the kennels) or with another lucky family wont be too long in coming. Huge cuddles xxxx

Met Beauty today. She is a smashing girl,at the moment sharing with the also gorgeousJet . She walks so well on the lead and, having recently been in a home, I'm sure she would settle well in a new home. Cuddle tonight for her xx

Beauty (Dutchy) is back at the kennels after being in a home for three years. Unfortunately her owner is not well enough to take care of her any longer and has asked if we can find her a new home. She is a lovely girl who gets on well with adults, children and other dogs. She has been sharing her home with an elderly Staffie. She is perfect. 🙂 Xxx

Hi Aires, Sadly Nick did see the gate but chose not to stop! He still has a waggy tail and his face looks a little better this morning. Still wobbly but hopefully on the mend. He has had lots of hugs from everyone! Xxx

I bought some stick on vinyl Butterflies for my patio door, stick them in a nice pattern low down and they work fine, hope this helps poor Nick.

Poor Nick, and what a shock for the girls there when it happened, but how great where they in handling it.When we first had our late boy Ollie he saw something in the garden and thought he could just run outside through the sliding patio door off the kitchen. Wrong! the double glazed door was shut. Ollie was at near full speed when he hit it. The sound as his head made contact was awful. We rushed into the kitchen just as he ran back into the living room looking dazed but fine after a few minutes. In fact the door came off worse, he had knocked it right off its track. it took 2 of us to lift it back in it was sooooooo heavy. The power of these hounds is unbelievable, especially the lovely big black boys and yet they are so gentle. After that we always put something in front of the glass door when it was closed. Didn't stop me trying to walk through it once though !!! and never knocked any sense into me lol. So glad Nick is relatively ok. A red sign for him would make my day, he so needs it.
