hey Kate - not forgetting our trip to Pets at Home yesterday to spend our Lifelines vouchers - we ordered the agility equipment which will go in the smaller area of the sand run and got loads of new toys for the Trust dogs.... it was a great shopping trip! 🙂

Mum says it’s been ages since I said hello to my old chums on here. I will be 12 on August 1st and there is to be a proper birthday lunch for me and my buddies. I have a few ‘lady’ problems but nothing that a few pairs of Smarty Pants can’t sort out - I am mostly wearing pink tarten and black floral. For my age I am still a bit of a looker if I say so myself and mum and I have a wonderful seaside life. And get to go on holibobs with Auntie Linda and Uncle Pauly. So we are blessed in many ways. Salty wags and hugs to everyone who remembers us. Enjoy the day....live each moment....xxxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Thanks Kate! Today was great, so many lovely volunteers and Freya our latest work experience person. Thanks to you all for your hard work and support, very much appreciated, it was a great day. Nail cuttings done (scary when it's not your own dog)! Bounty managed to eat much better even checking her kennel mates bowl, she is getting there slowly. Hope I managed to do ok. Once again thanks to our wonderful volunteers, without you I don't think this would be possible. Thanks to Ruth and Kate for entrusting me with the kennels today. Ok Oscar speech over. Xxxxx

I took Sam to the vets for his neutering operation this morning. He was so happy to be going out and jumped into the car. Sat down most of the way, only getting up to see what was going on when we stopped at traffic lights. When we arrived at the vets he met a small dog in the waiting room who decided he would growl and bark, very loudly at Sam. Sam was a perfect gentleman and just stood wagging his tail. :)) He was very wobbly when Ruth and I picked him up this afternoon but managed to eat his dinner when he returned to the kennels :)) He is a lovely big lad with a big heart Xxx

Having spoken to Marjorie many times on the telephone, it was a real pleasure to accompany Ruth to meet her and Archie today. He is an absolutely gorgeous boy and so laid back. He was very happy sitting on the sofa supervising the completion of his adoption paperwork. :)) Marjorie is lovely and Archie has her wrapped around his little paws! Lots of love to them both. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Jo should really be completing the diary today! 🙂 Ruth and I were out most of the day having several jobs to do including collecting a fridge, visiting Archie and his new Mom Marjorie so she could complete his adoption paperwork. He looked so happy! 🙂 We also had to get a new tyre fitted to the van and pick up our gorgeous Sam from the vets after his neutering operation. Everything was fine when we got back to the kennels. Thanks to Jo and our volunteers. :)) Xxx
