Barney is going back to Daybreaks Saturday for a 2 week holiday. I feel so bad about leaving him so we can go and enjoy ourselves. I will miss him really badly and send him a big hug everyday.

Happy Birthday Marty. Surely a 6 year old should have a forever Mommy.? We only fostered Fat Neck Finlay for 2 weeks and just had to go for it in case someone else (who didn't know about his food fetish lol) snapped him up. A FFP tee shirt could be the incentive LOL x

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Holly has found herself a home! 🙂 It was great to see her reserved today. She has been very down in the dumps since her kennel mate Hugo went home at the weekend. This was just what she needed. Xx Hugo's new Dad called this afternoon to let us know Hugo is doing really well. :)) Rose is a lot better...her poo looked great! It really made our day! :)) Four of us stood and studied it! :)) Bounty ate a little better today, which is great news. 🙂 She is such a very sweet little girl. Sharing with Nick who is a very tall lad makes her look even smaller! It wasn't quite so hot today and we were able to do morning and afternoon walks. I heard Horsey was a really good boy and didn't stop when it was time to come back! He is a very happy lad with real character. Xx Many thanks to everyone for their help today. 🙂 Xxx

Shani,most of the weight Archive lost was muscle waste. Now our vet says he is like a bodybuilder all big at the top and weedy legs !! As he uses his front legs more. His bad leg is better but not the same as the other. Stay brave. Xxx

It was lovely to be back to the kennels today and being able to meet the gorgeous houndies. Rose was unable to come for a walk today but was a lovely affectionate little girl who was happy to meet and greet anyone who wanted to stop for a moment. I think she is going to be a character. xx

I've sent Jack a hug and hope that he will soon be back to full strength. Our previous dog spent a very long (for us anyway) weekend at the vets after having a tumour removed and we couldn't wait to bring her home. As soon as she arrived home she went straight to bed and seemed to move on from the horrible experience much better than we did!

It must be so very hard to see your lad so poorly. He is being very brave and the vet sounds positive about his progress. I am sure being able to take Dexter to see him at the weekend will cheer you all up. Lots of love Kate Xxx
