I met up with Florence yesterday for a walk she didn’t want to go home. Instead she was quite keen to come with me. On the journey back to our house I decided that out of all the space I could choose in car I would sit on my sister lap and squash her so she cannot move. I thought I was keeping her safe. Barney Xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Yesterday was such a busy day as Kate has already mentioned but my night had been busy too with poorly Rose... I had been at the kennels at 10.30 and just after midnight and again at 1.30am to clean her kennel and she was in a state when we opened up... a major kennel clean - the poor lass - however she was very bright with no temperature. Lisa arrived at the kennels first thing to load up the roadshow equipment as we were off to an event at Shirley park but Lisa was looking ‘green round the gills’ so with a poorly Lisa and Rose and a homing and 2 viewings planned we had to cancel going to Shirley 🙁 I can’t wait to see the photos that Vince took yesterday - we will have a hard job deciding which shots will go in our Daybreaks calendar for next year. It was lovely to meet Pat the competition winner who brought her gorgeous two hounds in to be photographed 🙂 On looking at the cameras this morning Rose’s kennel isn’t as horrific as yesterday so that’s good news!!! Let’s see what today brings 🙂

Bounty spent the day with Nick in the kitchen run and kennel today. She seemed happy in his company but didn't eat very much again :((( a really gorgeous little girl looking for her perfect home. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Rose had a trip to the vet first thing this morning. She has a very upset tum with sickness and diarrhoea. :(. She had an anti sickness injection which seems to have helped. Poor little lass. Hopefully she will feel better tomorrow. Thanks to Lisa for taking her to the vets. Xx Wonderful to see Hugo go home. He is a lovely but very shy lad. We have everything crossed he will settle well with his new family. X Saddle and Roy came for a visit this morning. 🙂 They both looked great and had their photos taken to appear in next year's Daybreaks Calendar. Later this afternoon Kado was reserved! All being well he will be going off to live with a lovely family and their very cute Jack Russell! Kado was brilliant with him. Xxx Thank you to everyone who helped look after the doggies today! :)) Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

When I cannot decide which cream cake to have out of two, I usually find the best solution is to have BOTH ! lol Probably how I ended up with four beautiful Greys in our home at one time. Very different personalities but all so loving and well behaved. Now all of the four gone, but lovely times never forgotten, Great news of Jack may he have many more good years with his great family xxxx

Oh Bounty, what a shame after such glowing reports. We found a stair gate solved the problem, and after a couple of weeks our Grey didn't need it. They soon learn what is OK to do and what is not .Fiances may take a little longer.! lol Never mind Bounty your forever home cannot be far away you did your best and being on your own at night is a bit scary at first. Not your fault xx

Patch here.. many thanks to aunty Kate for a good teeth clean and paw manicure. I love her lots and she cares about my health. My weight has gone up slightly and i luv the sunshine... had a stroll down the lane and i feel good today!.. xxx
