This girl is absolutely stunning, she just needs someone who understands her needs, she's just a toddler who needs guidance, and once she understands what's what she will bring so much joy to some lucky person. Our first Grey was 18 months old when she came to us and she was such fun xxxxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
Helpers galore today meant the boys & girls enjoyed both morning and afternoon walks. Fortunately the forecast storms didn't materialise - although as I type this it is looking very threatening outside!! Mr Nick spent the day in the kitchen as he really doesn't like being cooped up in his kennel. He was very helpy, supervising the feeding and washing up! He wasn't impressed when the group went out for a walk (he is still on restricted exercise), so we went into the treatment room and I gave him a thorough grooming and massage with Aloe Vera. He is a bright, inquisitive boy who just needs his chance out in a home of his own. Eillie bounced her way through the day again - and after two more applications of cream, her sore bits are looking much improved.:) We had a viewing today and the gentleman just couldn't decide between 2 of our lovely boys. He is coming back tomorrow with a decision after a night of thinking things over, so keep your fingers crossed. We had a visit from the gorgeous Ronnie & Reggie this afternoon, they are looking fantastic. Ruth spent a long time digging 5 corns out of poor Reggie's paw ( I think it was Reggie, apologies if it wasn't but they do look so alike!). Hopefully he will be able to walk a little easier now bless him. New boy Sam is a stunner, and a real character. I made him such a tidy bed this morning, all corners tucked in neatly and smoothed down. Within 2 seconds of returning to his kennel after breakfast, he had scraped all the covers together to form a heap, which he promptly lay down on! Later on I found him upside down on the bed, legs in the air, looking very contented. What a sweetie. x Late this afternoon saw the sad return of Bounty - such a shame but things have got to be right for everyone concerned. I am sure that with her glowing report she will find a new forever sofa very soon. We have viewings booked again for tomorrow so fingers crossed. Thanks to everyone for their help today - and have a great weekend one and all. Angie xx

Unfortunately my fiance and Bounty aren't compatible at night now that Bounty can climb the stairs and open doors and wants to sleep with us. I don't have room for a crate to contain her downstairs so unfortunately had to make the sad decision to put her up for rehoming again having spent the night sleeping on the sofa with her in the living room so my fiance could sleep. She may be better suited to a home with another dog or someone who doesn't work so they have the time to dedicate to giving her the confidence she needs to be able to chill out more. She is a smashing little girl and I will miss her. I hope that I have given her a little bit of freedom from the kennels and am sure she will be re-homed soon. Cuddles for you beautiful Bounty. xxx

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments, I spoke with the vet this morning and he says Jack is progressing every day, he is now trying to put his right foot on the floor on his own which is brilliant in just a week, I know he's got a long way to go but I'm so happy I could burst lol xxxxxxxx

Mandy had a visit from her new Mom and Dad this morning. She went for a short walk with them and had lots of cuddles. They can't wait to take her home. 🙂 x Poor Eillie has a sore bottom. The vet thinks she may have burnt it lying on the hot concrete in one of the runs. Sadly she hasn't got any hair on her bottom at the moment so she has very little protection from the heat. She is having Sudocrem applied to the area. Anyone who has met Eillie knows she is a very happy and bouncy girl and her sore bottom hasn't affected her at all! She would really be so much fun to have around and she is very pretty too! Xxx Thank you to everyone for the donations of bedding and towels. So kind of you. It started off lovely and cool this morning, the dogs enjoyed a lovely walk along the lane. :)) Thanks to everyone for your help today. Fans of Saddle and Roy will be happy to know they are doing great! :)))) Xxx
