I am desperately seeking an urgent foster home for Peril. She is a sweet natured girl but just not getting on with one of the greyhounds in her family. She has been in a home since September so we’d really like to find her a foster home asap.

Happy Christmas my darling boy! Mommy misses you so so much, not the same without you here, miss all the things we used to do together. I've put your stocking on your memorial wall to make sure you still got it! I love you with all my heart and wish you were still here. Walked out the front door this morning to a white feather so that was you saying 'happy Christmas mom!' Love you so so much my angel, mommy xxx

So pleased to say all of our lads and lasses have found foster homes for Christmas. Xxx Rocky was the last one to leave the kennels this afternoon. He really is a lovely lad...full of life and interested in everything! Xxx When we arrived at the kennels this morning Ruth got Rocky and Robbie out and let them have a wander around the kennels. They met Ruth's Tony, Tigger and Momma and my Skip. The poor Christmas Tree outside the office was the target for a lot of wees! :)) They all had a great time. Rocky helped with the Christmas Raffle draw, congratulations to those who were lucky enough to win one of the prizes. :)) Thanks so much to everyone who has donated food, Sardines, treats, toys and bedding for the dogs and sweets, chocolates, biscuits and mince pies for the volunteers. So very kind of you. Xxx Wishing you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas. Sending lots of Christmas hugs to your four legged friends. :). Xxxx

Unfortunately the family with their playful whippet Stanley who came to hopefully foster Robbie, went away without him. Stanley told Robbie off and poor Robbie just stood there looking very upset and then actually headed back to his own kennel and got on his bed! I moved onwards to the second offer of a foster home for him and I have just 'delivered' the gorgeous Robbie to his foster home to stay for a few days over Christmas. He settled down straight away after having a wee in the garden and then lay with his toys on his bed and promptly fell asleep! (I have added a few photos of him in his foster home. If you are interested in offering this lovely boy a home, please get in touch! x

I hate to say this but I think I almost prefer it being minus temperatures - crikey was it WET today!!! It was so strange only having 2 dogs - cleaning & feeding was done in record time! Not sure I like it being quite so quiet- there is an eeriness to the kennels. Our work placement student, despite being on Christmas holidays, was in again today bless her - so we grabbed the opportunity to take Rocky and Robbie for a walk this morning during a lull in the downpour. It was a good plan - but it absolutely bucketed down on us when we were halfway down the road and we all returned to the kennels dripping wet! Must confess both boys enjoyed our ministrations with towels, followed by cuddles in their kennels - I think they forgave us for getting them wet! Well Christmas is almost upon us - where did 2022 go?? Hope you all have a happy Christmas and a healthy and peaceful New Year. Thank you all for your continuing support during what was a difficult year for us all. Angie xxx

Although we only had three dogs at the kennels it was a busy day today...lots of things to try and catch up with! Sonic went out to his Foster home, what a lovely lad he is! He will be going to his forever home next week. :)) Rocky and Robbie are still waiting patiently for a foster home for Christmas. They are both lovely boys. Rocky is a happy and exuberant lad and Robbie loves to play! :)) Xxx We have had lots of donations of food and treats this week...thanks so much. Xxx We had better news about Pearl which is fantastic! Xxx Xxx
