Look who has found himself a fantastic new home! Congratulations to Jayne and Vince for joining the ever growing Failed Foster Parent Club. :)) We are all so happy for Alex! He has two beautiful sisters to share his life with, Greyhound Flo and and cute little Aggie! Lots of love to you all. Xxx

Iv been today to see if josh gets on with my dog's on staff called sky and my greyhound blossom they all got on well so I'm so glad that I'm going to Foster josh and I'm picking him up on Sunday

Dougie has a lovely turned up nose and looks so cute when he is sleeping! He has been eating a lot better the last few days and is much more settled. Xxx Do hope a forever home will soon be his. :)) Xxx

We put Sammy in the kitchen run this morning to have his breakfast. There were several boxes of toys in there too and he decided to unpack them all while waiting for his meal to arrive! He was especially interested in those that squeaked! He had a great fun! It was a very noisy breakfast time! :)) His tum is a lot better and he is a happy lad! Xxx

Georgie's leg is a lot better today but she is still unable to go on walks at present. She really is a super girl. When you walk past her kennel her tail starts wagging and I'm sure she smiles st you! :)) Xxx

It was inevitable really - just took us a while to take the plunge after so many years of being without a hound. We have loved her from day one, but her sleepover with us at Easter sealed the deal - she belongs with us. X Just 2 ridiculously busy weeks to get through then we can devote ourselves to settling Miss Moose in - can’t wait. Xx

SCREAM!!!!!!! This is a very happy day! Our longest stayer Minnie has finally been offered a home with the lovely Angie and Michael, Daybreaks volunteers. I am absolutely over the moon and you can just see the love and connection. She is a very lucky girl and off to her new home after the Jubilee Tea xxxxx

I have added a photo of Max on his morning walk today. Unfortunately it won't let me rotate it!!! I have been taking this very very special boy home since he was returned. He was returned because of constant toileting in the house. To start with, all I can say is it is very good we have flag stone flooring and washable mats in our cottage! However he has come on in leaps and bounds and is gaining great confidence. I put up a crate behind our sofa and the door is always open and quite often he takes himself in there and roaches - legs in the air. He has started to show interest with toys too! He comes upstairs at night and sleeps on the floor next to our bed. He rarely has accidents and he is becoming less jumpy with noises and walks really well on the lead, just stopping to look around once in a while. He thrives with the company of my three and I am currently looking after Belle for Alan (one of our volunteers) and they are pretty inseparable! If only he had room for an extra!....... 🙂

Hi Tally, I am unsure if he does steps and stairs but we will test him today and comment later! Even if he doesn't, he can be trained.
