NatC, Thank you so much for Alfie update, we think about him everyday and wonder what he's doing. My hubby sadly is very ill Alfie was his mate and talked to him all the time for fuss and treats, we are just so happy he has found a new loving family and got a brother Bobby. We would love to see any update photos and videos with his brother Bobby living his new life I'm on fb. We still love him and want what's best for him. XX

We’re delighted to add the lovely Bill to our family. He’s absolutely beautiful with such a gentle temperament. We hope we can make his twilight years as happy as possible. He on the other hand thinks he’s still a puppy ??????????

Alfie (Yardy)

Caza, we already love Alfie so much, he is a fabulous boy. He is so much fun. He was talking to us yesterday indeed. Very funny. We will keep very good care of him. Thank you for leaving the very useful notes and the coats. He is getting on well with our older greyhound, Bobby. I am so sorry that you had to return him, I can imagine how traumatic and awful it must be. Alfie will also always be your boy. He is lucky to have two families who have him in their hearts. We would be very happy to keep you informed of how he gets on if you would like. But I understand as well if it would be too painful. Take care.

Daybreaks Diary!

It was a mad, mad crazy day today, but it was the day most of us had been waiting for....(drum roll) Mikey was officially adopted, he looked absolutely fantastic and went home with a new fleecy coat. He got lots of attention and cuddles. Well done Mikey, at last you are officially in your home. Next was lovely little Molly's turn, off she trotted through the gate to start her new life, good luck sweetie. Bill was next, such a lovely boy who had been on foster, so well done to his family for becoming members of the failed foster family. It was still quite chilly, but all dogs that could, had morning and afternoon walks. Thanks to everyone for their help today, I really appreciate it, especially as I was busy with the homings and the viewing for Molly and nail cutting. Thanks to Angie who did a dogs nails whilst I was dealing with other matters. As always stay safe and well everyone, hope to see as many of you as possible at the hounds Easter parade next Sunday. X

Rocky

Rocky came with me for an adventure today. The first stop was a garden centre, where he tried to stick his nose into every plant he saw. After getting what we needed there, we went to Bruten Park. We saw quite a few other breeds and he did find some of them quite interesting. He did have a whine, on occasion, but he was easy enough to maneuver away from the dogs that he found more exciting. He generally walks on a relaxed lead at a nice pace. In Solihull we went into several shops and the assistants in Whitestuff, Joules and Robert Dyas were so friendly and welcoming. They all said what a lovely dog Rocky is. In one shop they thanked me for bringing him in and in other he was brought a water bowl and treat. He helped me pick out a new bird feeder in Robert Dyas and did his best to find me a new book in Waterstones. He explored a couple of outdoor shops, but wasn't convinced about the stairs and so we stayed in the ground floor. He travels well in the car, but needed help getting in. He has a gorgeous, very distinguished face. Hoping he doesn't have to wait too long for his forever home x
