Celia its a fact you ARE cute when you have a poo so I make no apologies for taking a photo of you and no Your Rat friends are not welcome , play with them in the garden if you like but they ain't coming in the house I do love you though because you are such a weirdo you are definitely not a normal dog or greyhound , I just seem to get the strange ones but thats OK babes , I love you for being weird but Im still going to take photos of you having a poo because I can and because you just look so cute when you do Jeffrey xx

Daybreaks Diary!

One word describes today - craazzyy!!! The Team was a bit depleted by illness and half term, so I had the pleasure of going on the morning walks. It felt almost like spring as we walked down the lane in lovely sunshine, with the birds singing and snowdrops and buds showing everywhere. Elizabeth & Carol came in this afternoon to take another "boys outing" to the park!! Those that didn't get to go had some time in the sand run. This morning saw the arrival of the lovely Fred & Minnie. On arrival, Fred's Trainer told us that he didn't have a pet name, so as Erik & his family were visiting at the time, we asked his daughter to name him - and she chose the name Fred. We had a visit from Timmy & Bee for their post adoption health check & sand run session - it was lovely to see them. And there were plenty of visitors throughout the day for the sand run, pampers, and dropping off donations of towels and bedding. This morning also saw the beautiful Missy reserved. In between all this activity, and answering the phone, Ruth finally completed the mammoth task of sorting and cataloguing the trackers. Well yet another weekend approaches - where is the time going?? The diary looks busy again, so lets hope that we see a red sign or two come Monday morning - I shall raise my glass later in this hope. Daybreaks Diary!

Rocky was reserved early this morning...he hadn't even had time to unpack his bags! He is a very sweet lad. Xxx The sun actually came out for the morning walks although it was very chilly! We had frequent hail showers this afternoon so decided to pop muzzles on all of our residents and let them out of their kennels to have a wander round. :)) Thye loved it! Johnny hooked up with Rocky and followed him around, sure he would like company when he goes off to his new home. Paddy was a little overwhelmed by all the running around and sat on one of the beds in the run. Think he would also be happier with a friend when he goes home. Joe loved the freedom and had a few runs around the kennels with a smile on his face! Buick was able to have his cone off for a while which he enjoyed. Xxx Thanks so much to Shirley and Richard for all their help today....Wishing Shirley a very Happy Birthday. She had Frieda as her Birthday present last year. We tried to convince her she should have Buick this year! :)) Two more new arrivals tomorrow! :)) Xxx Xxx

I was so scared the other day , I went out for a wee and my "Bad side" came out , I just got lead on by Celia and ended up having a poo in next doors garden simply because I was so scared , If Celia ever tries to lead me on again Im saying NO, Luckily we have nice neighbours and the nice man next door has said that he will help Jeff close off that portal to the other world , I dont like the other world , it wasnt my space and I dont like it , I love you Humans but I dont like other worlds I like my own world , that's why I like my bed , thats why I like letting Jeff on the bed , I have been told you shouldn't really let Humans on the bed with you they can be un-hygienic but I like Daddy Jeff so hes allowed . Celia is a bad influence on me sometimes but sometimes just for the hell of it , I sleep in her spot on the bed and she hasn't got a clue what to do ,she just paces and whines until I move and sometimes we have a laugh and just wind Jeff up by cuddling up to each other just when he has to go to work, he says we look so cute and he dosen't want to leave us but we know as soon as he is gone the house is ours to party in Anyway we are both having our nails done in the next few weeks , I want a nice Blue and Celia says she like Purple , but I think its only going to be a nail trim and a wash at the groomers , Jeff says the groomers are nice people and he likes them alot so Ill let you know How that goes This Human we have both rehomed is a weirdo TBH but we like him Loads of Love and front legs on shoulders Jessamine xx

Buck (Buick)

Handsome Buick came with me to Elmdon Park today on another group outing. He was absolutely fantastic! He met lots of different breeds with no issues. He even met a pack of smaller dogs and he just looked the other way. He wasn't interested at all. He loves his cuddles and walks. Joe and Johny were a bit tired on the way back to Daybreaks, but I think Buick would have given a return trip a good go. They made a very good looking trio.
