Daybreaks Diary!

It was a busy day...we had lots of visitors with their beautiful Greyhounds to say Hello to! :)) Xx So happy to see Paddy reserved today. A super boy! Xxx We had a bit of a technical hitch this afternoon when the hinge on the top of the main kennel door came off! Unfortunately the wood of the door frame is going rotten and the hinge just fell out! :(( I'm so grateful to Richard who came over and fixed it! Thank you! Xxx At one point I thought I would have to sleep in front of the door for the night as I couldn't get it to close! :))) Sad to see Alfie back at the kennels, do hope he will soon find another home. Xxx Many thanks to Sam who came in and took some of the dogs off for some lovely canine massage. It really helped Alfie to relax, poor lad was very stressed when he first arrived. Thanks so much to everyone who helped out today. Xxx Thanks so much to Jess for taking my Skip and Lyra for a walk. 🙂 They had a long wait for their dinner tonight! Xxx

Alfie (Yardy)

Very sadly, due to a family illness Alfie is back at the kennels. HIs family are heartbroken and hope a new home can be found as soon as possible. He is a very good boy and loves lots of fuss. He also loves going for a walk and will go out whatever the weather! He can be strong on the lead and can sometimes get very excited with other dogs. He is very loving and affectionate. His family say he is a very happy boy. :)) We are very sorry for all concerned. Xxx

This week we had to say goodbye to our girl…a total shock is an understatement but thank you Shandy for the wonderful memories including early morning garden sniffinks, showing us how greyhounds play fetch and hogging my chair in the winter and the sun in the garden in the summer, the games of hide and seek or kangaroo impressions before walkies and our Miss February Star ….. we’re going to miss you, go and run free over that rainbow until we meet again xxxxxx

A big cuddle for our wonderful Skip...it was eight years ago today he walked into our home and rested his head on John's knee! At this moment he is happily snuggled up in his bed snoring! :)) Lots of love to you my lovely. Xxx
