I've added some new photos of lovely Leo. I just adore this boy, if I could have him I absolutely would but my circumstances just aren't right. I always rush to walk this boy whenever I'm in, mainly because of the amount of love and excitement I get from him as soon as I enter his kennel! He loves his walks and it's so clear to see as he bounces around and his tail wags furiously! He's so affectionate when you bring him back too, I've stolen many cuddles with him. He does need someone firm and to set boundaries, he needs someone able to implement a simple but solid routine and STICK to it, someone who can help him with his separation anxiety, who has the time and patience to help him make the transition from a kennel dog to a home dog. Please give him consideration if you can offer those things, he's going to be such a wonderful pet for someone. xx

Daybreaks Diary!

Wednesday was upon us, thanks to the Wednesday walkers this morning and to Denise and Dave. Chris has had the cheek to book this week off, well I never!!! I met Mikey our new arrival from yesterday, wow he is so handsome. We had New arrival Billy today, he was a little unsure of his new surroundings, but by the time we left the kennels he seemed to be settled. Thanks to ever one for the donations of bedding. Lovely Leo and Super Sanka are still waiting for their forever homes, they really are super lads and have both experienced a home environment, please don't overlook these boys, you will not be disappointed. Just a reminder, we have tickets on sale for our first post covid event, Mike Stewart Lawrence and his band are very kindly putting on a 'gig' to raise funds for the kennel. As previously mentioned Mike has toured America and has had several tracks reach the American charts. Tickets are £7.00 and available from the kennels, the venue is The Dovehouse Theatre and there is a bar, woohoo. If you would like tickets they are available from the kennels or you can book over the phone and pay by card. As always stay safe and well, not long now until some of the c ovid restrictions are lifted. Xx

Topsy looked a little fed up when Yvonne and I opened up this morning. She is on her own at the moment after Phoenix went home yesterday. When Norman arrived and offered to take her to the park, we thought it would cheer her up. :)) She is a very affectionate, bright little girl who likes to watch what's going on in the kennels from the comfort of her bed! 🙂 Thanks so much to Norman for taking her out. :)) Xxx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Roxie fell head over heels in love with new arrival Mikey when they met today! They were in adjoining runs....she was dancing around, tail wagging. In return Mikey kept spinning around, showing off! It was so funny to watch. Roxie is an absolutely delightful little girl. Xxx
