Very sad and shocking news Kate. We are all sad for the loss of Fletch. The hounds who ‘did porridge’ all deserved the best family lives after doing their bit and Fletch certainly had that.

Well......with the terrible sadness of this week (and I thought his birthday was 4th June) I forgot Good Boy Flloyds birthday yesterday. He said its fine, we need to remember the dogs that have crossed Rainbow bridge recently and their families. He said we will have birthday special dinners tomorrow and we will light candles again for handsome Fletch and little girl Flash. They will always be remembered.

I’m Homed
Flower has now been with us for a week. She is still very settled and has not chewed any of her bedding. We have also been able to leave her for 1 1/2 hours. The only thing she has chewed is egg cartons and cereal boxes destined for re cycling. She is so friendly and loving she just needs her forever home.

Happy 13th birthday to my doddery, old grumpy boy, we didn't think we would make it this far, due to his dementia, but grateful for every day we have left with him. Happy birthday Stripes, love you loads. X

Kate,, i m so very sorry very sorry, I am desperately trying to find the right words, I know I messaged you but I want say more. I need to compose myself as I know how difficult it is to lose your baby! I think we all remember Fletcher as the prison Dog, then known as Brandon who went on the prison experiment. Then you look him in and he became Fletcher (or as many of us referred to him as Norman Stanley!! He was also a Ballymac dog (just like Sarah Scare Bear) All our dogs are special but as we said the Ballymac dogs are special. Fletch run fast and free you were loved so very much, not just your family but by everyone who knew you. Candle lit in your memory. Much love to everyonewho has felt your loss. Xxxxxx

A cuddle for Fletch as he makes his way over rainbow bridge. There is never enough time with our hounds but all the more painful to see them go well before their time. Kate, he was lucky to have you but I know you felt you were even luckier to have him. No more scary fireworks now Fletcher, sleep tight and enjoy all the playtime and treats your little heart desires up there xx
