Happy Easter!!! I love Easter. Me and the hamster both have our own Easter eggs! Have a good day everyone. Yesterday I had a greyt day as I met my friends Freddie and Bella in the garden!! I love them. It was sooooo fun. I followed them everywhere. I stole their toys and went mental. We also got a mini chocolate doggy egg each!!! The walk was amazing and it was a fantastic day out. Towards the end I was ready to go home and I went straight to my sofa for a nap. Hope everyone is well! Russ Xx

Morning everyone! Happy Easter! We are drawing our Easter raffles at 2pm today live on Facebook! The dog hamper is worth over £150 and the chocolate hamper is just amazing!!!! If you would like to buy a last minute ticket please call the kennels and you can buy over the phone by card. Just a £1 each and all the proceeds obviously help us continue the work we do at Daybreaks xxx

Andy and I took Caesar to Stoke yesterday to his new foster home where he is already being totally doted on. He is such a gorgeous boy and he has the most wonderful place in the village of Ipstones to enjoy his retirement. Thank you Alison and Jill so much for taking him into your home x

Daybreaks Diary!

We saw Ruth and Andy briefly this morning before they took Caesar to his foster home. we are so grateful to his new family for offering him a home. Do hope his previous foster family are all doing ok especially their lad who was injured. Xxx Wonderful to see Locky go off to his new home too. I had forgotten what a tall boy he is! All is going well with his injured paw, as long as he leaves the dressing alone! :)) Erik's young daughter amused herself by pretending their own Greyhound, Charlotte was a Sheep Dog and walked her around the kennels "training her" :)) Xxx The sand run was fully booked again. It was good to see the sun come out for everyone. Xxx Gorgeous Alfie came in for nail clipping, it was great to see him! What a different dog he is now from the nervous boy who was terrified of everything when he first arrived at the kennels. Now his tail wags and he is happy to come and greet you. It just shows what time and patience can do. Xxx Many thanks to everyone for your help today today. Brilliant to see Angie and Michael again! We had a new recruit too, another Kate 🙂 Thanks for all your help. :)) Hope the Easter Bunny brings new homes to all of our boys and girls, especially thinking of our longer stayers, Samson, Sanka, Alex and recently back from trial Ritchie. Xxx

It was really lovely to see Locky again today. Xx. It was great to see him greet his prospective new family with a very happy tail and a spring in his step! Locky did a brilliant first meeting, when he saw the family he was wagging his tail put his happy face on and placed his head to get a cuddle. I am really pleased for Locky the have been rehomed. Love at first sight for both sides :-). He was brilliant during his walk not responding to barking dogs at all. So have a happy retirement. We will miss this big loving and kind giant
