Kate was right, it felt like winter had returned today, it was so cold! As always thanks to our Wednesday walkers and to Denise, Dave and Chris. I somehow managed to lock Denise in the chicken house, a completely innocent accident, honest. She wouldn't let it go (wish I left her in there, lol). Nice to see Jill who delivered lots of items for us. I got to meet lovely new girl Adele, she is so very sweet. Big lad Locky had managed to decorat his kennel overnight, he has had a case of 'happy tail' and managed to get his dressing off. Don't let that put you off, it is because he is such a happy boy he cannot stop wagging his tail. In a larger area he would be just fine (speaking from previous experience). Ruth had nail cuttings and teeth scrapings. Visitors for the sand run and highlight of the day Yoda went home, good luck mate xxx Got home, started doing dinner when I received a call from our fire alarm company, there was an alert from the kennels, thankfully not an alert involving a fire. I headed straight back out to find there had been a power cut affecting the area resulting in a fault notification. The inmates were all still tucked up warm and happy and seemed to be oblivious to my late visit!!! Technology is wonderful, its so good to know that we have a system that let's us know of any problem, the safety of our dogs is paramount. As always, stay safe and well everyone and we hope to be able to see you soon.

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Hello everyone! Thought I’d give an update! We haven’t really done much as we are in lockdown but I have had fun on my cat patrol in my wood! It’s greyt! The washing up bowl is on the living room floor as always! I also brought a toy football goal to mummy as a present! Hope she likes it. I’m currently waiting for my dinner! The hoomans are currently ignoring my signals! They say I’m too early???? Surely I know the time! Russ Xx

Beautiful Adele arrived at the kennels this morning, she is a really lovely girl. :)) Thanks to Lucy for taking the great photos of her. Xx It was a little warmer today and the dogs enjoyed their walks this morning. We met a genetlman from the Building site up the lane and he was very taken by our handsome Locky :)) Sadly he already has two dogs. Locky absolutely loved all the extra attention and would have been very happy to go home with him! :)) Many thanks to Lucy and Yvonne for all their help today and to Jan for popping in to do some walks this afternoon. Xxx

Lucy is right about Locky he does love people! He is so sweet and just a happy puppy who is no trouble in his kennel. He is a very big boy who weighs nearly 40Kg! He is strong and would need to go to a home with someone who is confident with handling a lad of his size when out and about. You would also need a big sofa! :))) Xxx

Adele arrived at the kennels this morning. What an absolutely gorgeous little girl. Lucy and I took her out into Bob's garden to take her photo, she was more interested in giving cuddles. :)) Such a pretty girl. Xxx

Alex is a lovely lad. 🙂 He is no trouble at the kennels and happily mixes with the other dogs when going out for walks and at meal times. He is very friendly and affectionate. He is also very good looking! :)) Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

Can't believe it was spring yesterday and back to winter today! 🙂 Despite the chill outside it was nice and cosy in the kennels. :)) All of our doggies were happy to see us and enjoyed their breakfast. Yvonne got to work making beds, so grateful for all her help. Xxx Bobby's lovely family arrived to take him home. He is a very sweet boy, wishing him a very happy new life. Xx Ruth let Belle and Nidge out to have a run around the kennels, it was fun to watch them investigating everything, although Skip wasn't so keen on all the activity and retreated to the kitchen kennel. :)) It was great to see Ash and his family this afternoon, he needed his nails clipping. 🙂 Great to see Lorraine and her dogs too, also nail clipping needed...Xxx Just checked the cameras in the kennels, all of our residents look very comfy! :)) Looking forward to welcoming a new arrival tomorrow. :)) Xxx
