Richie is such a nice lad, he would love a home either with a doggy friend or where there is someone at home most of the time. He is very inquisitive and likes to watch what's going on and what everyone is doing. :)) Xxx

A bit warmer today, Ruth was busy with corn removals and nail clipping. That included my Arry with his corn, turns out he has an infection in his toe (in addition to his corn) and a fractured nail! Sarah Scare Bear had her nails cut, she will not let me anywhere near her, thanks Ruth for sorting both of them. The sand run was completely booked today and is increasingly being booked well in advance. Liz_Beth took Ritchie to the park, he had already just had a walk but was up for an outing, thanks to her for taking him, he was very quiet when he returned for dinner!!! He really needs a foster home or even better a forever home, if you can help please give the kennels a call. Hawk had a visit from his family, he will be going home at the end of the week. Little Sarah has gone to spend some time with her new brothers. She will have a fantastic home with them and her mom and dad. I have some exciting news, well for me it is, I am now fully mobile again with a new car, well not new, new but a replacement for my previous one, it's great!!! As always, please stay safe and well, hopefully the current restrictions may be eased soon and we can welcome more of our lovely volunteers back. We have been working with far fewer volunteers with our own little 'bubbles' since lockdown, so it will be fantastic when we can open the doors to them. We will of course be following the government guidelines as necessary.

Ritchie had a walk around Elmdon Park with me again today. He was notably more at ease than last time and rather than his ears being up and alert, they were floppy and relaxed for a lot of the walk. We walked for about an hour and saw quite a few dogs. We didn't stop to say hello to them though, but walked past briskly. Whilst Ritchie did want to take a closer look, he was easy to manage. When we got back he flopped on his bed in the run with his head hanging off the raised bed and his nose squished against the floor. He looked quite content with life. He is a lovely boy xx
