It was such a shame things didn't work out well when Locky met the Labradoodle today. His prospective family were very sad as they really wanted to be able to take him home. Xx I'm sure spending some time with Erik and his family will be great for him. Xxx

It was really lovely to see Tracey and her family again and it was brilliant to see Nidge reserved! He got on very well with gorgeous Milo and Casey. He throughly enjoyed having a wander around the kennels and even picked out a martingale collar for himself from the office. Think he was trying to tell Tracey he should go home with her! :)). Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

It was a busy day with lots of visitors for the sand run and clients for nail clipping and corns. :)) It was such a shame Locky and the his prospective family's Labradoodle didn't hit it off, she was a very lovely girl. Xx They are undeterred and are still hoping to find the right Greyhound to join their family. Xxx Late this afternoon lovely Nidge found himself reserved! :)) Xxx Thanks to Jayne for putting together the fabulous Easter doggy raffle prize! :)) The giant fluffy caterpillar is amazing! I know Ruth took photos for our Facebook page.... :)) Thanks so much to everyone for your help today. Despite the rain, wind and hailstones the residents had both morning and afternoon walks. 🙂 I had the pleasure of taking new lad Barney, he walks very nicely on the lead. 🙂 Another new arrival due tomorrow! Xx Xxx

Ruth, thank you so much for introducing us to Nidge today, he found his way into my heart within minutes and also got instant approval from his new brother & sister, Milo & Casey. We can’t wait to take him home with us next weekend! It was also lovely to see you all & please say thank you to Kate & the other lovely lady (apologies I don’t know her name) who also instantly knew what to say to ensure that Nidge found his new forever home, mind you I didn’t need persuading, it was love at first sight! Sending Nidge lots of love & cuddles & a big thank you to Ruth for another successful match made in heaven! Xxx

Yay Locky has gone out to foster with Erik who owns Charlotte so he can work his magic with him meeting other breeds of dogs. Locky is so big but so affectionate. He just can't understand what other breeds are at the moment so gets very excited!

Sadly Locky was too excited with the labradoodle he was hopefully going to live with so he is now unreserved :-(((( He is a very strong boy and at 40kg needs a very strong experienced owner.
