I am so desperately heartbroken to hear this. He was a wonderful boy and had a wonderful home. Another taken way too soon. I really don't know what else to say. Sweetheart, run fast and free with all our beloved hounds at the Bridge. Heartbroken. Love to Ian, Debra and Samantha. Xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
Another chilly day, but a dry one. Thanks to all the lovely volunteers who came in, all dogs had morning and afternoon walks. Thanks to Richard and Shirley for taking Drew to the Sheldon County Park walk, and to Liz_Beth for taking Danny too. Great news, Danny is RESERVED, yay, well done. We had lots of visitors, thanks for the donations of bedding and fish, it was great to see everyone. We also had a viewing, hopefully we will have some feedback on that. Following Ruth's appeal for foster pawrents for over the Christmas period I had lots of calls from lovely people offering to help. Thank you all so very, very much. We will be in touch once we know how many hounds we will have available for fostering. Hopefully, lots of our reserved hounds will be going home this week. Here's hoping for a good week ahead. X

Just really don't know what to say, I am absolutely heartbroken for Barney and his family, how cruel this world is sometimes, my tears are flowing for you sweetheart. You made us all laugh with your stories, run fast and free Barney, you were taken far too soon, God bless you sweetheart xxxxxx

We are absolutely heartbroken. Barney has now passed away. The vets can’t do anything as his injures are worse than expected. Even if he was to have surgery there was a really low chance of survival. Everyone loved him and he will be truly missed. He was a great boy. Thank you for the support. Xx

Barney gets my cuddle today. Everything is crossed for him. The neurologists at Willows are amazing. They and the physio got Skip better after we were worried he could be paralysed after his stroke. Let's hope they can work their magic. x

I am over the moon for you Danny boy. You were such a good boy on the walk today, walking with my baby Sam a lot of the time. You were naturally inquisitive but calm. Even Sam was unsure when the dog darted past us that Liz_beth mentioned. I'll see you on Friday to give you a cuddle before you go off home - which sounds wonderful. x
