I am so very sorry to read that your little girl is poorly, I'm sorry I don't have any advise, but I really hope you find out what is wrong with Bessie and she gets the help she needs, thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed for a positive outcome xxxxx

My poor girl is now down to 18.25kg she hasn't got much longer unless her medication starts to work and she can gain weight. Vets at Willows are still not 100% sure what is wrong but her condition relates to protein loss in urine. If anybody has any advice or has been through this medical condition with their dog please can you leave a message. Thank you x

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Two new arrivals today Meena and Sparky! Both gorgeous. :)) Thanks to Vanessa and Julia for giving them a bath. 🙂 Sparky is the litter brother of former Daybreaks residents Saddle and Roy, who I'm sure a lot of you will remember and met. Xx We are hoping to welcome another new arrival, Arties Sister later in the week. Xx The weather was kind to our walkers and allowed them to get morning amd afternoon walks done without getting wet! :)) Danny was able to join in again after his recent neutering operation. He enjoyed joining the group again. 🙂 Dave worked hard on sorting out the bedding...there is a lot of it! :)) All looks very tidy now! Thanks Dave:) The Calendars for next year are selling well. It's great to see photos of some of the Greyhounds we have had the pleasure of helping to find their forever homes featured in the calendar. It's sad but lovely to see Sara our longtime volunteer paid tribute to. Xxx They make great Christmas gifts. :)) So don't miss out!! :))) Thanks so much to all of our lovely volunteers today. :)) Xxx

Evie is a funny little girl. She has to be coaxed off her bed to have her harness put on, then shes in a hurry to be off. Shes a friendly girl who gets on well with the other dogs. Cuddles for her tonight xxx

This beautifully big boy is super. I really love walking him because he is tall enough to stroke (which he enjoys) while we're walking. He also liked lots of kisses on his head, although to be honest I didn't give him much choice!! Xxxxxxx

It is with a very heavy heart that i have to say we lost George on 6th October 2019 just 3 weeks off his 12th birthday. He was the most gentle giant of a greyhound we could ever have wished for. He was a huge part of our lives and we will miss you enormously. Until we meet again. All our love and cuddles. xxxx
