Ive just been to where we picked Bez up and put flowers on the canal... It was around 1.30 when we arrived... Still think of the poor children who pulled her out....it was an honour for two of our volunteers to take her on her final journey. X

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Morning everyone! It's a soggy day here today already but we are really happy as the beautiful Harley is off to her new home today! Well, how mad has this week been, so many reservations and homings. This means we can get more dogs in from our ever increasing waiting list. This is what we work so hard for....the welfare of these majestic dogs.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Jo was on the Vet run this morning as the cute & bouncy Scruff went off to be speyed. It was lovely to meet our 4 new arrivals, little Tatty is so sweet but very wary of her surroundings at the moment. She was happier with her kennel mate Scruff around, but after she had gone off to the Vet, Tatty needed a little bit of coaxing to come out of her kennel bless her. Kristoff is a very handsome boy indeed, and pretty little Louise is happily keeping Drew company in his kennel. Although we were studentless today, our Friday team managed to give the doggies both morning and afternoon walks, as well as some sand run playtime for the more lively ones!! We had quite a few visitors today, and a viewing late this afternoon so keep everything crossed that we see another red sign very soon. This afternoon also saw my lovely boy Suarez off to his new home. This is just what he needed and we wish him and his new family many happy times ahead. Not so sure I approve of it getting dark quite so early, I am not a winter person!! As another weekend approaches, my glass of red wine is raised to all our lovely boys & girls - may their forever sofas be just around the corner. Enjoy your weekend one and all - cheers! Angie x

Happy 13th birthday to our most precious baby girl. You’re grey-faced, wonky and very demanding these days but deserve every scrap of our attention. You’ve had a tough year or so and we are incredibly blessed that you are still with us. Your birthday has made us remember with so much love the other 3 members of our fab 4 who are no longer with us. Our own Lola and then Ben and Blue Harrison, all now at the bridge. All our love precious girl xxxx
