2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Another frosty start to the morning. Thanks to our Wednesday walkers as ever. I was very pleasantly surprised to see our two college students who decided that even though it was half term they still wanted to come in, thanks so much to them. It was lovely to see Ruth with Tig and Momma, so pleased that not only is she looking better but feeling better too. Onwards and upwards. We had two beautiful new arrivals, Tatty and Scruff! These are the names they arrived with, we didn't name them!! They are a little unsure of their new surroundings but both managed to eat all of their dinner and were settled when I left. They are really so very cute. Elmer went off to his new home today. He was very excited as I think his family were. Wishing them lots of fun times together. Over the next few days we have some of our reserved dogs going to their new homes too. We now have Christmas cards for sale in the office. Don't forget we still have tickets available for our countdown to Christmas evening on Saturday 23 November. If you can't make it to the kennels to purchase your tickets you can make payment over the phone. Hot festive buffet, bar, stalls AND a floor show and all for only £8.00 each.....come on what are you waiting for?? It is set to be a greyt night and all proceeds will go to Daybreaks Trust. I am now going to get comfy and hopefully warm.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A very quiet morning for walkers...but lots of help this afternoon. It was cold but a lovely day for a walk. :)) Richard and Declan went to collect donated bedding from a place in Coventry's Canal Basin this morning. The van was crammed full of duvets, pillows, sheets, blankets etc. When they returned 🙂 We are so grateful for the donation. Xxx Thank you also to the lovely family who donated bedding and helped to walk the dogs this afternoon. Xx Lola's new family came to visit her this afternoon, she enjoyed all the extra attention. :)) Lola will hopefully be going home next week. Xx Gorgeous little Wilma went home this afternoon. She was a very happy girl and a,though needed a helping hound to get in the car she couldn't wait to get in and be off to start her new life! :)) Xxx Thanks so much for everyone's help today! :))) Xxx
