Oh my this gorgeous boy is breaking my heart. He is so anxious in the kennels - we put a thunder shirt on him this morning to try to make him feel a bit more secure, but he just cries and wants to be close to you all the time. This handsome fella would really like his forever home to come along very soon. Big cuddles my lovely. xxxx

Sally is really doing well . She is getting more confident each day . Sally mastered the stairs last night and slept on our bed .Sally is a cheeky girl and loves Bobby , she is an angel and we all love her so much. Xxxxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Angie has asked me to do today's Daily Diary as she went to visit Ruth to plough through some paperwork that needed doing and felt she was not qualified to write today's post! We had no college students today so we were a bit thin on the ground. We had a surprise visit from two lovely ladies from HSBC who chose the kennels as one of their volunteer days. Thanks so much to them and also to our Friday gang, we managed morning and afternoon walks despite the rotten weather. Very quiet for visitors, so not really that much to report on that front. Dave keeps fighting a never ending battle with nature, no sooner had he cleared all the leaves another lot descended. He had cleared the driveway but by the time we left it was worse than before!!! He, however will not be beaten, I have to admire his determination. Well, it wouldn't be Friday without raising a glass or two of wine and wishing for some more red and green signs for the coming week.

Well Drew is a quick learner. He walked so well yesterday with his head next to my knee, no pulling at all until he saw a squirrel. He lunged but 2 quick 'leave it' and praise when he did leave it and on he walked. Handsome, clever and loving. Fabulous boy xxxxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Suarez went off to be neutered this morning and Evie came with us for the first part of her vaccination. They were both very good traveling to the vets. Evie was very excited and had a bounce around when she got out of the car. She is a very happy girl! She was very good at the vets except for trying to steal the stethoscope!! She is a real bundle of fun. :)) Suarez is a little more reserved and really likes to lean!! He too was very good st the vets. He was very wobbly when we picked him up this afternoon. Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow. Xxx Thanks so much to Richard, Alan and Declan for going to the warehouse ...and thanks to Alan for the chocolate donuts! Xxx We had a lot of visitors today, great to see some old friends :)) Thank you to everyone who brought in bedding and items for our donation table. Thanks to our helpers! You are all great. :)) Xxx
