Raymond Family Update by Florence Vet says my tail is healing nicely with no infection or skin breakdown so far, I am still bleeding though as I won’t stop wagging it! Currently I have a syringe case taped to the end of it so the wound is protected but exposed to the air. Mom feeling really dizzy and faint, she had to sit down in the vets as bending over holding my tail for the vet made her feel so bad - so embarrassing! Sending love to Rosie for a swift recovery. Lubs to all. Florence xxx

    I’m Homed

Tiger went for his neutering operation today...poor lad ended up having a major operation as only one of his testicles was visible. The other was found in his abdomen! He was such a brave boy when I went back to collect him this afternoon. He was obviously in some discomfort but he managed to jump into the car and ate some dinner when he got back. Xx A very busy day for us all...we had a visit from head office this morning and two more new arrivals both gorgeous Elmer and Wilma. Thanks so much to Bob and Declan for collecting them from the track for us. Lucy was busy taking photographs, she had had two assistants Jess and Richard! Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to take photos of Topper and Evie but Lucy will hopefully take them early next week. It does make me smile watching the dogs having their photos taken...whatever must they think of us all jumping around behind Lucy, squeaking toys throwing treats and generally making a row! I'm sure you will all agree Lucy takes brilliant photos despite the chaos she has to put up with. Xx It was great to see Wonky Cindy reserved this afternoon. She has to meet her prospective new sister on Saturday, do hope they like each other. Fingers crossed! Xx Poor Alan has hurt his back so wasn't able to come In to help today. We were so distraught at the thought of a donut less Thursday that Richard popped out to buy some! Get well soon Alan! Xxx Thanks so much to everyone for their help today. Xxx Xxx

    I’m Homed

It is it extremely hard work when we cover the kennels, so do know where you are coming from, I have been the only person there feeding and cleaning out, especially in the winter when weather was bad, but put the dogs welfare first... I know of one of our volunteers who travels a fair distance and gets there at 7.30am. Think we have all experienced how much hard work it can be with little or no volunteers, hence why we promote not only homing but also the need for new volunteers. X
